I-90 - Snoqualmie Pass East - construction schedule

Due to the Memorial Day Holiday, work will be suspended from Friday, May 24 through Monday, May 27 on I-90 between North Bend and Ellensburg. However, you should still plan for added travel time due to increased traffic volumes over the weekend, which will cause delays eastbound on Friday and westbound on Monday. Below are the areas where drivers will experience delays due to construction and maintenance work scheduled May 20 - 24:

North Bend Vicinity (Mileposts 33 to 52)

  • Drivers may experience minor delays due to lane closures at night starting Sunday night, May 19 through Wednesday night, May 22.
  • Drivers may experience minor delays in both directions during the day between North Bend and the summit of Snoqualmie pass due to work to make repairs to the guardrail.

Easton Vicinity (Milepost 75)

  • Drivers may experience minor delays Wednesday due to westbound lane closures for guardrail repair work during the day.

Cle Elum Vicinity (Mileposts 80 to 96)

  • Drivers may experience minor delays Monday and Tuesday due to eastbound lane closures for guardrail repair work during the day.
  • Drivers may experience minor delays at night from Monday night to Friday morning due to westbound lane closures.
  • Drivers may experience minor delays due to single lane closures westbound Tuesday and Wednesday during the morning.

Ellensburg Vicinity (Milepost 102)

  • The westbound lanes near Ellensburg will be reduced to a single lane from 5 p.m. Monday night, May 20 to 12 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, May 21 as crews make repairs to the bridge detour in the median.
  • Drivers may experience minor delays during the day in both directions Monday through Friday as crews make repairs to the bridge deck over the Yakima River.
