US-12 / McNary Pool to Old Highway 12 & Clarkston Paving

Current Week Traffic Advisory: US-12 from SR-128 to the Diagonal Street Intersection milepost 432 to 434: Monday, Sept. 25 to Friday, Sept. 29 from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. crews will install traffic loops and pavement markings. One lane will be closed and traffic will be piloted through the work zone.

Project Description:
This project will mill out the existing asphalt and pave back new HMA on three section of US-12.

I-82 Columbia River Bridge - EB Truss Deck Replacement

Current Week Traffic Advisory
:
The detour below will be in place until Fall 2018

Eastbound traffic has been shifted across a detour onto the westbound Columbia River bridge into Oregon. The speed limit eastbound is reduced to 40 mph across this detour. Westbound traffic is also reduced to a single lane. The speed limit is reduced to 55  mph.

Through the end of October approximately 1,000 agriculture trucks a day will be entering from the SR 14 on ramp to I-82 eastbound. Drivers should use caution as slow moving truck merge onto the detour.  

Project Description
:
This project will remove the deck off the truss section of the eastbound bridge across the Columbia River into Oregon. The work will also upgrade the electrical system and pavement markings across the bridge. Traffic will be detoured onto the westbound bridge during the majority of this multi-session project.

Project Description:

This project will grind out and repave the roadway from Foster Wells Intersection to I-182 interchange on US-395. On SR-240 from Jadwin to Arron Drive and from the Blue Bridge and Columbia Center Blvd Interchange. Signals will be installed at Kingsgate Way and Hagen Robertson intersection on SR-240. 



SR-240 milepost 25.5 to milepost 26.5 City of Richland Village Parkway Intersection

SR-397 - milepost 20.5 – Cascade Natural Gas – Utility Work

Project Description:
This is a Cascade Natural Gas Company project, and their contractor will be conducting utility work in the near the intersection of SR-397 (Oregon Avenue) and East A street around MP 20.5.

SR-397 milepost 20 to milepost 22: Between East A Street and City View Cemetery Lane, motorists may experience delays while traffic is reduced by a single lane closure in each direction during daylight hours Monday, Sept. 25, through Friday, Sept. 29.


Project Description:
This is a City of Pasco utility project, and the City of Pasco’s contractor will be completing the pavement restoration as part of a new water main under the SR-397 (Oregon Avenue) roadway between milepost  20.47 and milepost 21.86.


Maintenance/Utility Operations:
SR-240 milepost 28: Monday Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be alternating flagger controlled traffic for pavement marking operation. This work is weather dependent. 

US-395 milepost 25 to milepost 38: Tuesday Sept. 26 through Thursday Sept. 28 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. there will be alternating flagger controlled traffic for pavement marking operation. This work is weather dependent.

I-90 468th Ave. SE to W Summit Rd EB – Rehab Concrete, Deck Rehab, Culvert Rehab (mileposts 34 to
52)

Current Week Traffic Advisory:

Eastbound: Drivers can expect lane closures from milepost 34 near North Bend to milepost 52 near the summit of Snoqualmie pass 24 hours a day seven days a week. Drivers should plan for added travel time through this area. 

Westbound: The westbound lanes from milepost 52 near the summit of Snoqualmie Pass to milepost 34 near North Bend will be reduced to two lanes, with one lane shifted around the work zone as crews repair several bridge decks. This traffic shift will remain in place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until the end of September. All traffic will be directed to take the bypass lane on Wednesday Sept. 27 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and on Thursday Sept. 28 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Project Description:
This project will provide for rehabilitation of the eastbound lanes of I-90 from the 468th Avenue Interchange in North Bend to the West Summit Road at Snoqualmie Pass (milepost 34 to milepost 52). Work will consist of concrete panel replacement, concrete pavement grinding and culvert rehabilitation to maintain drainage. Also included in the work is the
rehabilitation of bridge decks 90/91S eastbound at Snoqualmie River, 90/96.5N westbound at Denny Creek, the Denny Creek Viaduct Bridge 90/97.2N westbound and Bridge 90/97.7N westbound at Franklin Falls.

I-90 Hyak to Keechelus Dam Phase 1C – Replace Snow shed and Add Lanes (mileposts 57 to 60)

Current Week Traffic Advisory:

Nighttime:
Monday night through Saturday morning westbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane during nighttime hours. Minimal delays are anticipated.

Daytime: Monday through Friday, both directions of traffic should prepare for intermittent rolling slowdowns. Minimal delays are anticipated.

Scheduled rock blasting related closures:
No blast closures are schedule for the week of Sept. 25.

Closures are planned to last one hour, it is always possible that cleanup efforts could take longer if more material comes down than predicted.

Eastbound traffic will be stopped at Gold Creek milepost 56, westbound traffic will be stopped at milepost 61 Price Creek. No services are available past exit 53 eastbound and exit 70 westbound during blast closures. Anticipate one hour or more of added travel time.

Bicycle Alternate Route: I-90 is closed to bicycles in both directions
between the Hyak interchange (Exit 54) and Stampede Pass interchange (exit 62) because there is no shoulder for bicycles to use.

Project Description:
Crews are building a wider and more reliable five-mile stretch of I-90 from Hyak to Keechelus Dam by adding lanes, replacing and adding bridges, stabilizing rock slopes and replacing the snow shed with avalanche bridges. 


I-90 Keechelus Dam to Stampede Pass Phase 2A – Add Lanes / Build Wildlife Bridges (mileposts 62 to 69)

Project Description:
This project provides for the improvement of 2.5 miles of I-90 from Keechelus Dam to the Price Creek Rest Area. The existing four lane facility will be replaced with a new six lane highway which includes several new bridges, drainage structures, chain up areas, illumination and ITS facilities and a wildlife overcrossing structure.

This project will remove and replace the existing asphalt pavement at select locations in both the east and westbound directions of travel from the Kachess River Bridge to the Cabin Creek Interchange vicinity, mileposts 65.5.to 69.
 

I-90 Peoh Rd Bridge to Elk Heights Rd Vic. WB – Replace / Rehab Concrete (mileposts 87 to 93)

Eastbound: Monday Sept. 25 at 5 a.m. through Friday Sept. 29 at 9 a.m. eastbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane 24 hours per day.

Eastbound Indian John Rest Area Closure:
Wednesday Sept. 27 and Thursday Sept. 28, the eastbound rest area will be closed from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Westbound Indian John Rest Area Closure:
Wednesday Sept. 27 from noon to 7 p.m. and Thursday Sept. 28 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., the westbound rest area will be closed. A temporary rest area for cars only will be available in Cle Elum, Exit 84. Trucks will need to use Exit 53 near the summit.

Bicycle Alternate Route: I-90 is closed to bicycles in both directions between Exit 93 at Elk Heights and Cle Elum because there is no shoulder for bicycles to use.

Project Description:
This two year project provides for the improvement of six miles of westbound I-90, located approximately five miles east of Cle Elum, by replacing concrete pavement.




US-97 milepost 134– Dolarway Intersection – Intersection Improvements

Current Week Traffic Advisory:
The intersection is now in a roundabout configuration, instead of a four way stop. Please make sure to turn right when entering the roundabout.

Project Description:
This project replaces the existing Dolarway Intersection on US-97 at milepost 134 with a roundabout. The project will also add a right turn lane on the I-90 westbound off ramp and an additional lane on US-97
northbound. The project will update drainage, sidewalks, illumination and landscaping.

I-90 Eastbound:
Renslow Bridge MP 119.5 to 121.5: 

Monday Sept. 25 starting at 7 a.m., single lane traffic configuration from milepost 119.5 to milepost 121.5, 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week for bridge deck repair.  It is estimated that this configuration will be in place through Oct. 5.

SR-124  Monument DR/RR Xing – Construct Bridge milepost 5

Project Description:
This project will construct a bridge over the Union Pacific railroad crossing to allow SR-124 traffic to cross above the railroad. Monument Drive will reconnect to SR-124 west of its current location. Moving the intersection will improve safety for traffic entering SR-124 at milepost 5.

I-82 / Selah Creek Bridge EB – Paving and Bridge Joint Repair (milepost 24)

Project Description:
This project provides for the improvement of I-82 eastbound Selah Creek Bridge milepost 24 by removing the existing asphalt overlay from the bridge deck, performing bridge deck repair, applying a water proofing membrane, performing bridge expansion joint repair and installing new asphalt pavement.


US-97 / SR-22 Vic to 2nd Ave Vic – Paving & Roadside and I/S Improvements

Pedestrian Access Notification for above intersections:
The new ADA ramps and sidewalks are fully operational at the West Wapato Rd./West 1st St., South Wapato Rd./South Camas Ave and Fort Rd./West 1st Ave. intersections. Pedestrians are to be advised existing pedestrian buttons have been relocated to temporary pedestrian poles and those poles have been installed in their new locations. These temporary pedestrian poles will only be used until the permanent pedestrian poles and push buttons are installed in these same locations. Please continue to use caution when traveling through these intersections since work will still be going on in the area.

Project Description:
This project will mill and pave US-97 from milepost 61.27 in Toppenish to milepost 74.45 near West Wapato and West First Streets. Other work will include chip seal of frontage roads, updating traffic signal systems
and ADA improvements. 




US-12 White Pass & Indian Cr. to Wildcat Creek Bridge – Paving & Drainage (mileposts 140 to 166)

Project Description:
This emergency project provides for the improvement of the unstable slope on US 12 milepost 156 by removing the existing netting, removing loose rock and installing wire mesh slope protection.



US-12 / Rimrock Lake Vicinity Stabilize Slope (milepost 165)

US-12 from milepost 159 to milepost 168: Through Saturday Nov. 11 US-12 traffic will be detoured onto Tieton Reservoir Road 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Please use caution as the detour goes through open range and cattle may be on the roadway. The detour will add approximately 30 minutes to your travel time.
 
Project Description:
This project provides for the improvement of the unstable slope on US 12 milepost 165 by stabilizing the rock slope through removal of loose rocks, soil and debris.



SR-24 milepost 2.7 to milepost 3.5 City of Moxee Morrier Lane Intersection

Project Description: This is a City of Moxee project. The City’s contractor will be constructing a new intersection with left-turn channelization on SR-24 at milepost 3.1.

SR-410 Both directions milepost 102.5: Monday Sept. 25 though Thursday Sept. 28 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a single lane closure for culvert cleaning work.
