PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL WASHINGTON...

.A BAND OF RAIN AND WET SNOW WILL MOVE INTO NORTH CENTRAL
WASHINGTON THIS AFTERNOON. IN GENERAL ELEVATIONS BELOW 2000 FEET
WILL LIKELY EXPERIENCE RAIN OR A RAIN SNOW MIX. COMMUNITIES ABOVE
2000 FEET LIKE REPUBLIC CURLEW MANSFIELD AND WATERVILLE WILL
HAVE A GOOD SHOT OF WET ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES. FOR THE
METHOW VALLEY SNOW LEVELS MAY BE AS LOW AS 1500 FEET LEADING TO
ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES FOR MAZAMA WINTHROP AND TWISP.

WEATHER ADVISORY ABOVE 2500 FEET FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 4 AM PST MONDAY.

* LOCATIONS...REPUBLIC WAUCONDA CHESAW ROAD HIGHWAY 20 WAUCONDA
SUMMIT BOULDER CREEK ROAD AND SHERMAN PASS.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...1 TO 4 INCHES IN THE VALLEYS AND 3 TO 6
INCHES IN THE MOUNTAINS INCLUDING SHERMAN PASS.

* TIMING...PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN BY EARLY TO MID AFTERNOON. IT
MAY BEGIN AS LIGHT RAIN OR A RAIN SNOW MIX BEFORE A TRANSITION
TO WET SNOW BY LATE AFTERNOON. THE HEAVIEST ACCUMULATIONS ARE
EXPECTED THIS EVENING.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL ABOVE 2500 FEET WILL BECOME TREACHEROUS BY LATE
IN THE DAY. MOTORISTS WITH PLANS TO TRAVEL OVER SHERMAN PASS
SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND TREACHEROUS
