Blocking Incidents
  • The SR 162 Spiketon Creek Bridge has been permanently closed due to recently discovered pier settlement. A detour is in effect using Mundy Loss Road, SR 410 and SR 165. View our next steps for a path towards replacement.
  • The Blue Lake Rest Area remains closed due to utility damage over the winter.
    No estimated time for the spring opening.
Construction Closures
  • Beginning Monday, May 13 - A single lane of westbound SR 18 at Issaquah-Hobart Road will be closed around-the-clock for approximately 65 days beginning at 5 a.m.
  • Tuesday through Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., expect minor delays with lane shifts, shoulder closures, and sidewalk pedestrian detours within Ephrata city limits where a contractor is updating deficient sidewalk curbs and lowering utilities. Expect delays up to 20 minutes between Ephrata and Soap Lake.
  • I-90 milepost 33 to 137 North Bend to Vantage: Due to the Memorial Day weekend, we won’t be working and impacting traffic Friday through Monday. However, due to the increase in traffic volumes we will see a spike in traffic volumes eastbound on Friday and westbound on Monday. Please plan for added travel time.
  • On US 97 south of Blewett Pass at Swauk Campground Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with delays up to 20 minutes where a crew is building a bypass lane for a culvert replacement project.
  • ON US2/97 east of the Odabashian Bridge-the Cascade Avenue exit is closed for construction of the 35th St. extension until July. There is a signed detour.
  • On SR 243 between Vernita and Vantage Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Expect delays of 20 minutes in single work zone with flaggers and one-way piloted traffic where the contractor is paving and fog sealing.
  • Tuesday through Thursday, DAYS: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., in Leavenworth expect functioning traffic signals at Chumstick and Riverbend with slow traffic & delays due to lane shifts as the contractor applies pavement markings. NIGHTS: 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., expect flagger controlled traffic at the US 2 Chumstick Hwy. and Riverbend Dr. intersections as needed while contractor works on signal.
  • On SR 28 in Quincy at 13th- No scheduled work but travelers may encounter intermittent flagger controlled traffic if necessary with gravel on roadway through work zone. Motorcycles should use caution.
