...Heavy Snow Possible Sunday...

.A Pacific storm system will spread accumulating snow across the
region beginning Sunday morning and tapering off Sunday evening.
Heavy snow is likely in the mountains making for difficult
travel conditions approaching area passes. In the valleys
accumulating snow is likely although uncertainty still exists on
how heavy the accumulations will be.

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Plan on difficult travel conditions.
Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches in the valleys with
mountain accumulations up to 18 inches are possible.

* WHERE...Republic Inchelium Wauconda Chesaw Road Highway 20
Wauconda Summit Boulder Creek Road Sherman Pass Leavenworth
Mazama Twisp Winthrop Stehekin Conconully Blewett Pass
Loup Loup Pass Omak Okanogan Brewster Bridgeport Oroville

* WHEN...Light snow will begin late tonight and intensify on
Sunday. Steady snow will taper off to snow showers Sunday
evening.
