Know before you goAn in-depth inspection of the SR 104 Hood Canal Bridge will require multiple weekday drawspan openings that will close the bridge to vehicular traffic. Drivers are advised to expect delays ranging from 15 minutes to 60 minutes per event. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead to help prevent delays.
Expect multiple drawspan openings during the following times:
• 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, March 25-29
• 9 a.m. 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, April 1-5

By law, WSDOT is required to open the Hood Canal Bridge drawspan to mariners within one hour’s notice, and motorists are advised to expect up to 60-minute delays with each opening. If no drawspan openings are listed immediately below, no non-military drawspan openings are scheduled.
The bridge drawspan will open at approximately 12:45 PM on Thursday March 21 for boat traffic. Drivers can expect delays of up to 60 minutes.
