Nighttime closures on Mellen St. and Ellsbury St, with flaggers, for drainage work, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, July 21: Nighttime, off-ramp closure, northbound on Mellen Street, from 10 p.m. Monday, July 21 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 22.

I-5 Both Directions - Tuesday, July 8 to November - Both directions of I-5 near the Stillaguamish River Bridge have been reduced to two lanes until bridge work is complete in November. Drivers should be prepared for some delays throughout the day. The heaviest northbound congestion is expected Thursdays and Fridays 3-6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The heaviest southbound congestion is expected Sundays 4 to 6 p.m. Drivers should plan for up to 35 minutes of extra travel time during these hours.

I-5 Southbound - All southbound I-5 traffic is reduced to two lanes and will use a new crossover across the median to two lanes of northbound I-5 across the Stillaguamish River Bridge, crossing back over on the other side of the bridge, until the project is complete in November. Northbound I-5 is reduced to two lanes from SR 530 to 236th Street Northeast as well. Drivers should prepare for a 55 mile per hour speed limit in both directions in the work zone.

I-5 Both Directions - Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – One lane of the northbound and southbound I-5 Nooksack River bridges will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for preparation and bridge painting. Drivers should be prepared for slightly narrower lanes. The speed limit through the work zone is reduced from 70 to 60 mph.

I-5 Northbound - I-5, Northbound, Gee Creek Rest Area, Discovery Corridor Wastewater Transmission System (milepost 10.75) Traffic Impacts: Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 25: Daytime narrow lanes with temporary striping and barriers at the entrance of the Gee Creek Rest Area for sewer line installation. NOTE: There will be intermittent shoulder closures on both directions of I-5 between mileposts 11.47 and 13.82 from Friday, July 11 to Friday, August 15.
