I-5 Both Directions - Tuesday, July 8 to November - Both directions of I-5 near the Stillaguamish River Bridge have been reduced to two lanes until bridge work is complete in November. Drivers should be prepared for some delays throughout the day. The heaviest northbound congestion is expected Thursdays and Fridays 3-6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The heaviest southbound congestion is expected Sundays 4 to 6 p.m. Drivers should plan for up to 35 minutes of extra travel time during these hours. I-5 Southbound - All southbound I-5 traffic is reduced to two lanes and will use a new crossover across the median to two lanes of northbound I-5 across the Stillaguamish River Bridge, crossing back over on the other side of the bridge, until the project is complete in November.
