Blocking Incidents
  • North Monroe Corridor Project - Monroe Street is closed between Euclid and Kiernan Avenue from April 2, 2018 until April 20, 2018.
  • North Monroe Corridor Project - Monroe Street is closed between Montgomery and Chelan Avenue April 2, 2018 through April 20, 2018.
  • Beginning April 16, 2018 Spokane City plans on closing Trent Avenue (sr290) from Hamilton Street to Perry Street for construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Trent and Perry. Work is scheduled to be completed by fall of 2018.
  • WSDOT is resurfacing Division, Browne and Ruby Street from I-90 to Euclid Avenue. Lane closures will start April 16. Crews will be
    working night hours between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.
  • Monday, April 16 the Street Department will start a grind and overlay project on Wellesley Avenue. The project will close Wellesley Avenue between Division and Nevada Street. Project will last app0roximately 4 weeks.
  • Road closure for construction of a roundabout on Trent Avenue(SR/290) both directions at milepost 0.7 from Erie Street to Hogan Street beginning at 6:00 am on April 16, 2018 until mid November.
  • Water over Roadway on SR 206 at 14.5 near Mt Spokane State Park, beginning at 1:30 pm on April 22, 2018 until further notice.
  • SR-260 both directions milepost 13 to milepost 20: Wednesday April 25 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. there will be a flagging operation.
  • Street Maintenance Curb Ramp Project - Starting Monday, April 9, 2018, crews will be working on 17th Avenue between Perry and Cook Street. Traffic control will be in place. Work will last about four weeks.
Construction Closures
  • On SR 17 Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. from the Junction of SR 17 and SR 282 at Ephrata to the Junction of SR 17 and US 2 at Coulee City. Expect less than 20 minute delays with alternating one-lane flagger/pilot car controlled traffic and intersection flagging for paving and shoulder rock work.
    Tuesday and Wednesday ONLY, expect shoulder closures for rock work from Patton Blvd.in Moses Lake to the junction of SR 17 and SR 282 in Ephrata.
  • Construction with lane closures and alternating traffic in multiple locations on US 195 southbound from at milepost 65 to 48, Rosalia to Steptoe, beginning at 2:34 pm on March 25, 2018 until further notice. Expect multiple delays if traveling in the area.
  • On SR 282 Monday-Thursday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Ephrata WSDOT maintenance crew will be crack sealing all 5 miles of the highway. Expect flaggers and short delays where they're working.
  • On SR 155 Between Coulee City and Electric City, a WSDOT maintenance crew is crack sealing 20 miles of deficient travel lanes, Monday-Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Expect less than 20 minute delays with single lane alternating traffic with flaggers and a pilot car.
  • On SR 17 from Sims Corner to Road 16 NE, WSDOT traffic data technicians will replace pavement sensors, Tuesday & Wednesday ONLY, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Expect flaggers and less than 15 minute delays where the crew is working.
  • On SR 26 eight miles east of Othello our Bridge crew will be patching deck on the Railroad Overpass on Wednesday & Thursday ONLY, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Expect flagger controlled alternating single lane traffic with up to 15 minute delays.
  • Grind and Overlay - Street crews will start the first grind and overlay project of the year on Monday, April 16. The project spans Mission Avenue between Division and Hamilton Street. Crews will close the two eastbound lanes on Monday, April 16. Eastbound traffic is detoured to Indiana Avenue. The two westbound lanes have been reopened.
  • Spokane County: Temporary signal, intermittent lane closures for trucks entering the roadway between the hours of 6 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Watch for flaggers and prepare to stop. This is scheduled until May 31, 2018.
  • Spokane County: Traffic impacts due to reconstruction of the intersection. Trucks entering the roadway Please use caution and watch for flaggers and prepare to stop.
  • Spokane County: Construction activities for the reconstruction of the intersection. Lane restrictions, reduced to one lane. Flaggers may be present. Be prepared to stop. This project is scheduled until May 31, 2018. Expect delays.
  • Bridge repairs at several locations between Steptoe and Rosalia with traffic signals directing single-lane, alternating traffic. Expect short delays 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
  • Asphalt paving and sidewalk ramp construction is underway. Drivers should expect lane restrictions.
