Blocking Incidents
  • On SR 26 15 miles east of Othello, Monday through Friday the RR bridge will be closed at all traffic and a detour will be in place in place using state routes 17, 260, and US 395, which adds 14 miles to the trip compared to driving the closed portion of SR 26
  • The Blue Lake Rest Area remains closed due to utility damage over the winter.
    No estimated time for the spring opening.
  • State Route 17 near Mesa off US 395, is open to traffic. Single lane alternating traffic Wednesday April 24 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. so the contractor crew can complete guardrail repairs.
  • Lane Closure for maintenance on US 2 eastbound at milepost 277 from Craig Road to Lawson Rd, Airway Heights, beginning at 10:28 am on April 24, 2019 until further notice. Expect short delays.
  • The Sprague Rest Area on I-90 westbound will be closed from milepost 241.6 to milepost 241.8 beginning at 7:00 am on April 24, 2019, until about 4:30 pm on April 24, 2019.
  • Rest Area WB I-90 Sprague Lake MP 245, is closed for maintenance, 7:45 AM am on April 24, 2019 until about 5:00 PM..
  • Sprague/Sherman Bridge Plaza - The intersection of Sprague and Sherman Street is closed for paving. A detour is in place.
Construction Closures
  • The Hamilton/SR 290 westbound on-ramp to I-90 is closed for construction to continue bridge deck repair until further notice.
  • The City of Spokane Water Department will have Hamilton Street reduced to one lane in each direction from Trent Ave to Springfield Ave, for water main replacement, Spokane. Starting on Friday, April 12th through Friday April 26. Motorist should expect delays.
  • Construction on US 2 both directions from milepost 263.4 near Reardan to milepost 271.2 near Espanola Rd beginning at 7:43 am on April 15, 2019, until further notice.
  • Construction on I-90 both directions from milepost 206.9 near SR 21 to milepost 220.1 near Ritzville beginning at 7:48 am on April 15, 2019, until further notice.
  • Construction on the shoulder of US 395 both directions from milepost 166.9 near Wandermere Rd to milepost 167.0 near Wandermere Rd beginning at 7:52 am on April 9, 2019, until further notice.
  • Construction on US 2 both directions from milepost 279.2 near Hayford Rd to milepost 279.5 near Hazelwood Rd beginning at 7:59 am on April 15, 2019, until further notice.
  • Spokane County: Construction work resumes this week adding culverts, guardrail and paving. The speed limit has been reduced to 35 MPH. There will be lane restrictions and an upcoming two week closure. Expect delays during construction work.
  • Spokane County: Starting on April 29th, Spokane County will have lane restrictions for installing sewer lines at the intersections of Shady Slope Road between Little Spokane Drive to Little Spokane Drive Y. Expect delays, use other routes.
  • Construction on US 395 Spur - NSC both directions at the Freya Roundabouts Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Roadway users should be alert for occasional traffic control.
  • Construction on SR 21 both directions at both Keller Ferry Landing sites beginning at 7:30 am on April 17, 2019, until further notice. Crews will begin construction on new the new terminal and pontoon replacement. Ferry operation will not be impacted at this time.
