Hood Canal Bridge repair project completeCrews have completed the SR 104 Hood Canal Bridge repair project. While bridge closures to accommodate marine traffic will still occur on demand, no additional construction-related closures are scheduled. The intermittent and long-term night closures allowed crews to install and test new mechanical components on the bridge. WSDOT thanks drivers for their patience during this project.
By law, WSDOT is required to open the Hood Canal Bridge drawspan to mariners within one hour’s notice, and motorists are advised to expect up to 60-minute delays with each opening. If no drawspan openings are listed immediately below, no non-military drawspan openings are scheduled.
