Blocking Incidents
  • SR 21 milepost 145.5 at Gold Creek, 17 miles south of Republic has a one-lane bridge with a 10 mile per hour speed limit until further notice. Follow traffic control in place and yield to on-coming traffic.
  • Beginning April 16, 2018 Spokane City plans on closing Trent Avenue (sr290) from Hamilton Street to Perry Street for construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Trent and Perry. Work is scheduled to be completed by fall of 2018.
  • Road closure for construction of a roundabout on Trent Avenue(SR/290) both directions at milepost 0.7 from Erie Street to Hogan Street beginning at 6:00 am on April 16, 2018 until mid November.
  • SR 20 MP 411 is now open for traffic. The road has been rebuilt with gravel. Motorcycles should use extreme caution through this area.
  • Rough roadway with loose gravel on SR 21 in both directions at milepost 174.5 near Tucker Rd beginning at 6:45 pm on April 27, 2018 until further notice. Motorcycles need caution and reduced speed.
  • Collision is blocking the Northbound lane on US 395 at milepost 207.4 just South of Chewelah, beginning at 3:46 pm on June 17, 2018 expect delays.
  • Spokane County: Starting on Monday, May 14, 2018, Monroe Road will be closed at Dragoon Creek for bridge replacement. Motorist should use other routes. This project is scheduled until Oct. 31st 2018.
  • COS - Adams St Combined Sewer Overflow Project - Crews will close First Ave from Cedar to Jefferson St starting Monday May 14th, 2018 until further notice. A detour will be provided on Riverside Ave. Local access only within closure location.
  • COS - Spokane Falls Boulevard closed for utility construction from Lincoln to Monroe Streets with a signed detour in place. Lincoln St access to River Park Square parking garage is open.
  • COS - Peaceful Valley Combined Sewer Overflow Project - Starting Monday May 7th, 2018 crews will close N Cedar St from Main to Water Ave until further notice for project construction.
Construction Closures
  • Extensive road construction and paving on SR 902 in both directions from MP 5.5 in Medical Lake to MP 12 near I-90, starting June 18th to August 14th. At times there will be piloted cars and detours in some places. Motorists can expect long delays and a 72 hour road closure July 19th to July 22nd. No construction work July 3rd and July 4th. Local businesses will remain accessible.
  • Asphalt paving and sidewalk ramp construction is underway. Drivers should expect lane restrictions.
  • US 2 is reduced to one lane in each direction with slow traffic, congestion, and possible delays.
  • COS - Monroe Street is closed between Montgomery and Chelan Avenue for construction for the North Monroe Corridor Project until further notice.
  • COS - Monroe Street is closed between Euclid and Kiernan Avenue for construction for the North Monroe Corridor Project until further notice.
  • COS - MLK Jr. Way is closed from Pine to Sherman Street. A detour is in place for the U District Pedestrian Bridge Project until further notice.
  • City of Spokane will have High Drive closed between 29th and 21st streets starting Monday June 11 until further notice. Motorist are advised to seek alternate routes.
  • Spokane County: Improvement of the Bigelow Gulch Corridor connecting Forker Road to Progress Road via a new alignment north of the existing intersection. Look for trucks entering roadway. Expect delays.
