Blocking Incidents
  • Saturday, Sept. 15: The Bridge of the Gods on SR 14 (milepost 41.55) will be closed to traffic from 7:30-8 a.m., for the Bridge of the Goddess Half Marathon.
  • Monday, Sept. 17 to the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 18:
    Both directions of SR 14 between Roosevelt (milepost 133.0) and the SR 14/US 97 interchange (milepost 100.6) will close overnight from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., for transporting a windmill transformer.
  • Monday, Sept. 17 to the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 18: Eastbound SR 14 between Dallesport (milepost 84.0) and the SR 14/US 97 interchange (milepost 100.6) will close intermittently with flaggers overnight, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., for transporting a windmill transformer.
  • Monday, Sept. 17 to the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 18: Both directions of US 97 between the SR 14/US 97 interchange (milepost 100.6) and Toppenish (milepost 57.0) will close intermittently with flaggers, overnight, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., for transporting a windmill transformer.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 18 to the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 19:
    Both directions of US 97, between the SR 14/US 97 interchange (SR 14 - milepost 100.6 and US 97 - 0.17) and Hoctor Road (milepost 9.32) will close intermittently with flaggers, overnight, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., for transporting a windmill transformer.
  • I-90 eastbound Ryegrass rest area milepost 126 will be closed to combination vehicles on Thursday, Sept. 20 from 6 AM to 6 PM to replace guardrail posts. The equipment being used will block half of the ramps to and from the rest area.
  • I-182 mileposts 7 to 13: Thursday, Sept. 20 from 9 p.m. to Friday, Sept. 21 at 5 a.m. The I-182 and 20th Street eastbound off-Ramp will be reduced to a single lane with a full closure possible after 11 p.m. for electrical work.
Construction Closures
  • US 12 milepost 158 to 167, both directions, east of White Pass: Friday, Sept. 21 at 6 A.M. US- 12 will be closed. The Tieton Reservoir Rd. will be utilized for a detour route. Full closure will be from Friday, Sept. 21 to Sunday, Oct. 7.
  • I-82 milepost 132 Columbia River Bridge near Plymouth: Eastbound traffic is shifted to the westbound Columbia River bridge into Oregon. The speed limit is reduced to 40 mph. Westbound traffic is reduced to a single lane.
  • US-12 MP 198 Nelson Bridges, west of Yakima: Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in both directions seven days a weeks, 24 hours a day, through Sept. 28. Traffic should anticipate minor delays.
  • US-395 Yelm St. milepost 17 to 18: Monday evening Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. through Friday morning Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. There will be single lane closures nightly for sidewalk upgrades.
  • SR-22 MP 25 to MP 36: Monday Sept. 17 through Thursday Sept. 20 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Crews will be placing centerline rumble strips and fog seal. Piloted 1 lane closures will be in effect.
  • US-12 MP 138 to MP 166 in both directions: Wednesday Sept. 19 and Thursday Sept. 20 from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. WSDOT crews will be inspecting and cleaning culverts along the highway shoulders. Shoulder work zones, minimal impacts anticipated.
  • I-82 milepost 69 to 73 both directions, Monday Sept 17 to Thursday Sept 20 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. crews will be pavement sealing the roadway. Expect one lane closures to be in effect.
  • I-182 milepost 4 to 5 at SR-240, George Washington Way Vicinity: Monday evening Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. through Friday morning Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. there will be single lane and ramp closures for striping work.
  • US-12 MP 142 to MP 189, both directions from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday Sept 17 through Thursday Sept 20 crews will be placing fog seal and performing other miscellaneous work. Piloted 1-lane closures will be in effect.
  • I-182 milepost 3, near Queensgate Drive: Monday Sept. 17 through Friday Sept. 21 nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Possible intermittent lane closures for illumination work.
  • SR-22 milepost 36,Tuesday Sept. 18 and Wednesday Sept. 19, during daytime hours, drivers should be prepared for minor delays as flaggers will intermittently stop traffic near MP 36.
  • US 12 MP 138 to MP 166, both directions, Wednesday Sept 19 to Thursday Sept 20 from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Crews will be inspecting and cleaning culverts along the highway shoulders, minimal impacts anticipated.
