  • Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and SR 522 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for paving and barrier work.
  • Wednesday, July 29 to the morning of Friday, July 31 - The on- and off-ramps of SR 526 and Evergreen Way will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. nightly for City of Everett paving work.
  • Monday, July 20 to September 25 - Both directions of SR 9 at Lake Creek will be closed from 7 a.m. Monday, July 20 until late September for culvert replacement and bridge construction. A detour will be in place.
  • Effective through Winter 2016: Canada Border Services Agency has made changes to its Aldergrove border crossing that could result in back-ups on SR 539. Processing has been reduced from three lanes to two. Drivers should consider using the Sumas, Pacific Highway or Peace Arch border crossings to avoid delays.
  • Tuesday, July 14 - Both directions of SR 542 at Squalicum Lake Road will close at 12:01 a.m. until late September for culvert replacement work. A signed detour will be in place.
  • Sunday, July 26 to the morning of Friday, July 31 - A single lane of southbound I-5 from Joe Leary Slough to SR 538 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. nightly for paving work.
  • Saturday, July 25 to the morning of Friday, July 31 - A single lane in each direction of I-5 near Main Street will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly for bridge painting.
  • Thursday, July 30 to the morning of Friday, July 31 - The ramps at George Hopper Road and northbound and southbound I-5 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for grinding and paving work.
  • Sunday, July 26 to the morning of Friday, July 31 - A single lane of SR 20 between Frostad Road and Sharpes Corner will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly for pavement marking work. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure areas.
Special Events
  • WSP will intermittently stop both directions of SR 542 traffic at various locations between the Forest Service Headquarters and Artist Point, from sunrise to sunset Tuesday, July 28th through Friday, July 31st, for filming and photo shoot operations.
  • Tuesday, July 28 to Friday, July 31 - Drivers should expect intermittent closures of up to 10 minutes at a time in both directions of SR 542 from the Glacier Creek Rest Area to Artist Point during daylight hours for a film project.
