Blocking Incidents
  • Update 7:40 PM : On the SR 518 eastbound on-ramp from SR 99 (MP 3) there is a collision partially blocking the ramp. Tow Assistance and the State Patrol have arrived on the scene.
Construction Closures
  • Thursday, July 20, to Friday, July 28 - The Bellevue Way HOV on-ramp to westbound I-90 will be closed from 7 a.m. Thursday to 3 p.m. the following Friday.
  • Saturday, July 22, to the morning of Sunday, July 23 - The northbound I-5 ramp to westbound SR 526 will be closed from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m.
  • Saturday, July 22, to the morning of Sunday, July 23 – The southbound I-5 ramp to westbound SR 526 will be closed from 6 p.m. to 10:30 a.m.
  • Until further notice - Northbound I-5 will be reduced to two lanes and detoured to a median bypass lane between Starbird Road and SR 534 over Fisher Creek. The speed limit is reduced to 60 mph.
  • Until further notice - A single lane in either direction of SR 202/ 131st Avenue Northeast between SR 522 and Northeast 177th Place will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly. On Fridays, a single lane will be closed from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Until further notice - A single lane of SR 542/Mount Baker Highway at Hedrick Creek will be closed until fall 2017. A stoplight will alternate traffic through an single lane bypass that has been built north of the highway. The speed limit is reduced to 25 mph.
  • Monday, July 17, to Wednesday, July 26 – All lanes of State Route 203/Main Street between Northeast 143rd Place and Northeast 145th Street will be closed from 8 a.m. Monday, July 17, to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 26.
  • Until further notice - Northbound I-5 traffic is using the new bridge over Fisher Creek just past Starbird Road. The left lane is closed until further notice and the speed limit is reduced to 60 mph.
Special Events
  • Saturday, July 22 – A Seattle Mariners game that begins at 6:10 p.m. at Safeco Field will cause additional congestion on highways leading into Seattle, including I-5, I-90, SR 520 and SR 99.
  • Drivers will encounter much heavier than normal vehicle traffic on both directions of SR 530 in the vicinity of the Darrington Music Park/Squire Creek Park Road during the annual Darrington Bluegrass Festival taking place Friday through Sunday, July 21st-23rd 2017.
  • Flammable cargo is prohibited on I-90 eastbound & westbound from Rainier Ave S (MP 3) to Island Crest Way (MP 7).
