Blocking Incidents
  • On SR 520 westbound just east of 76th Ave NE (MP 4) there is a disabled vehicle blocking the right lane.
Construction Closures
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 - Two right lanes of westbound SR 520 between West Lake Sammamish Parkway and Northeast 60th Street will close nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for paving work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 - The West Lake Sammamish Parkway on-ramp to westbound SR 520 will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for paving work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 - The SR 202 on-ramp to westbound SR 520 will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for paving work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 - The ramps from SR 522 to 164th Street Southeast will be closed nightly for drainage installation. Westbound will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and eastbound will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. A detour will be in place.
  • Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 25 - A single lane of 188th Street Southeast west of SR 9 will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily for road work. Traffic will be flagged through the closure.
  • Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 25 - A single lane of SR 203 from Monroe to Duvall will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for grinding and paving work. Traffic will be flagged through the work zone.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 - A single lane of SR 522 from Fales/Echo Lake Road to US 2 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly for drainage installation. A pilot car will guide traffic through the closure.
  • Westbound I-90 will be reduced to one lane at Bellevue Way Southeast from 9:30 p.m. Friday, July 18 until 5 a.m. Friday, July 25 for expansion joint repair work. This is a 24/7, week-long closure. Through 5 a.m. Monday, July 21 the following ramps will also be closed. Bellevue Way S.E. HOV on-ramp to westbound I-90 closed around-the-clock. Drivers will use the general purpose ramp. Southbound I-405 HOV ramp to westbound I-90 closed around-the-clock. Drivers use the general purpose ramp
  • Westbound I-90 is reduced to one through lane at Bellevue Way Southeast through 5 a.m. Friday, July 25 for expansion joint repair. There will be three lanes open from approximately Bellevue Way Southeast to East Mercer Way. Also closed, The Bellevue Way general purpose on-ramp to westbound I-90 closed around-the-clock. All drivers will use the HOV ramp. And, The southbound I-405 HOV ramp to westbound I-90 closed around-the-clock. All drivers will use the general purpose ramp.
  • The Bellevue Way on-ramp to westbound I-90 will close from 11 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday for construction work. Drivers will need to use I-405 to get onto westbound I-90.
  • Friday, July 18 to the morning of Friday, July 25 - The southbound I-405 HOV ramp to westbound I-90 closed around-the-clock. All drivers will use the general purpose ramp.
  • All southbound I-5 traffic is reduced to two lanes and will use a new crossover across the median to two lanes of northbound I-5 across the Stillaguamish River Bridge, crossing back over on the other side of the bridge, until the project is complete in November. Northbound I-5 is reduced to two lanes from SR 530 to 236th Street Northeast as well. Drivers should prepare for a 55 mile per hour speed limit in both directions in the work zone.
  • Tuesday, July 8 to November - Both directions of I-5 near the Stillaguamish River Bridge have been reduced to two lanes until bridge work is complete in November. Drivers should be prepared for some delays throughout the day. The heaviest northbound congestion is expected Thursdays and Fridays 3-6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The heaviest southbound congestion is expected Sundays 4 to 6 p.m. Drivers should plan for up to 35 minutes of extra travel time during these hours.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The Northeast Eighth Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will close from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for paving work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The northbound I-405 ramp to westbound SR 520 will close from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly for bridge work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The eastbound and westbound SR 520 ramps to northbound I-405 will close from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly for electrical work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 70th Street will close from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly for survey and sawcutting work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The Northeast 70th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 will close from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly for roadway excavation and paving work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The Northeast 70th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will close from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly for electrical, survey and sawcutting work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The southbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 70th Street will close from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly for roadway excavation work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The southbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 85th Street will close from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly for roadway excavation and paving work.

  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The Northeast 85th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly for roadway excavation work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 124th Street/Totem Lake Boulevard will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly for electrical work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 128th Street will close from midnight to 6 a.m. nightly for barrier and electrical work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The Northeast 128th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will close from midnight to 6 a.m. nightly for barrier and electrical work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The southbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 128th Street will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for barrier and electrical work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The Northeast 128th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for barrier and electrical work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The Northeast 160th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for electrical work (Brickyard P&R will be accessible by METRO).
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The southbound I-405 on-ramp to Northeast 160th Street will close from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for sign structure work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – The SR 527 ramp to southbound I-405 will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for electrical work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 - The westbound SR 520 off-ramp to Northeast 51st Street will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for paving work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 - Up to three lanes in either direction of SR 527 from I-405 to SR 524 will be closed daily from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. for grinding and paving work. Up to two lanes in either direction of 214th/217th/220th St. SE will also be closed. Lanes will start closing at 9 p.m.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – One lane of northbound I-405 between Northeast Eighth Street and SR 520 will close from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for paving work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – One lane of southbound I-405 between Northeast 85th Street and Northeast 70th Street will close from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for roadway excavation work.
  • Monday, July 21 to the morning of Friday, July 25 – One lane of the northbound and southbound I-5 Nooksack River bridges will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for preparation and bridge painting. Drivers should be prepared for slightly narrower lanes. The speed limit through the work zone is reduced from 70 to 60 mph.
  • Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 25 – One lane of northbound SR 9 may be closed daily near Front Street from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for construction. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.
  • Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 25 – Drivers should expect lane and shoulder closures on SR 539 between Horton Road and SR 546/East Badger Road from 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. for construction. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.
  • Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 25 – One lane of SR 539 will be closed near the border daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for clearing and drainage work. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.
  • Monday, July 21 to Saturday, July 26 - Traffic will be flagged through in both directions of SR 530 in Oso from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily for clearing and grubbing work and for placement of a roadway embankment.
Special Events
  • Washington State Patrol officers will escort vehicles during filming operations Wednesday and Thursday, July 23 and July 24, 2014, on SR 9 between Cathcart Way and U.S. 2, from 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
  • The annual Seafair Torchlight Run will close the northbound SR 99 top deck of the Alaskan Way Viaduct on Saturday, July 26, 2014 between the West Seattle Freeway and Western Ave from 5:30 p.m. until approximately 7:45 p.m. The runners will be on the top deck from S Royal Brougham Way to the Western Ave exit. Drivers should expect much heavier than normal traffic on the viaduct and on downtown streets following the end of the Torchlight Run and the Torchlight Parade events.
  • An Archery tournament will create heavier traffic on both directions of SR 530 in the vicinity of Squire Creek Park Rd and Darrington Music Park, during daylight hours, Thursday through Sunday, July 24 to July 27, 2014.
