Blocking Incidents
  • Update 8:40 AM : On US 2 eastbound & westbound just east of Bickford Ave (MP 6) there is an obstruction affecting all lanes. Semi-trucks and box trucks are not permitted. Cars permitted. Truck detour provided.
  • On I-5 northbound just north of S 188th St (MP 153) there is a collision blocking the right lane. Fire Assistance and the State Patrol have arrived on the scene.
  • On SR 167 northbound just north of S 180th St (MP 25) there is a collision blocking the left lane. Fire Assistance and the State Patrol have arrived on the scene.
  • Update 12:38 PM : On SR 167 northbound just south of I-405 I/C (MP 26) there is a collision blocking the right lane. Medical Aid and Fire Assistance have arrived on the scene.
  • On SR 520 eastbound & westbound at Evergreen Point Floating Bridge (MP 3) all lanes will be closed today at 1:00 PM due to boat traffic. Drivers should anticipate a delay of up to 30 minutes or consider using an alternate route.
  • On SR 520 eastbound at Evergreen Point Floating Bridge (MP 3) there is a disabled vehicle blocking the right lane.
  • On SR 20 eastbound & westbound just east of Diablo Dam Rd (MP 130) all lanes are closed due to a collision.
Construction Closures
  • The I-90 eastbound off-ramp to Bellevue Way (MP 9) is closed due to roadwork.
  • On SR 527 southbound at 214th Street SE (MP 3) the right lane is closed due to roadwork.
Special Events
  • Saturday, September 20 – A University of Washington Husky football game that begins at 3 p.m. at Husky Stadium will cause additional congestion on highways leading into Seattle, including I-5, I-90, SR 520 and SR 99.
  • The annual Tour de Whidbey will place cyclists on portions of SR 20 between Fort Casey State Park and Barrington Drive in Oak Harbor on Saturday, September 20, 2014, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • The annual Tour de Whidbey will place cyclists on portions of SR 525, between Cultus Bay/Langley Rd and SR 20 on Saturday, September 20, 2014, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • On Saturday, September 20, 2014, Uniformed Police Officers will intermittently control traffic at the end of the Northbound I-5 ramp to Nulle Road and at the Old Samish Road/Samish Way Overpass between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., during the annual Bellingham Traverse event. Runners will also cross under I-5 at Exit 250.
  • Runners participating in the annual Bellingham Traverse event will cross SR 11 right of way on the eastbound trail crossing at Padden Creek, run eastbound from 24th St. to under I-5 Exit 250, and cyclists will ride northbound on SR 11 from Old Lake Samish Rd. to Cowgill Avenue. Uniformed officers will intermittently control traffic at the intersections of Old Samish Way and Cowgill Avenue to allow cyclists to safely pass through the intersections.
