Blocking Incidents
  • SR-17 will remain closed at least through Easter in both directions from milepost 7, the Junction of US-395 near Mesa to milepost 15 at the Junction of SR-260, due to unstable rock faces along the roadway. Traffic can use US-395 and SR-260 as a detour route. An estimated time to open the roadway is unknown as crews remove the rock slide and stabilize the slopes. An update will be provided Monday morning, April 22 2019.
  • US-395 milepost 19 to 20 southbound Blue Bridge: Wednesday April 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a right lane closure on the Blue Bridge for survey work southbound lane.
Construction Closures
  • SR-397 milepost 11 Pasco, starting Monday April 15 the City of Pasco will close SR-397 between James Street and Superior Street for three weeks for roadway reconstruction work. A detour will be in place.
  • Construction on I-90 both directions from milepost 206.9 near SR 21 to milepost 220.1 near Ritzville beginning at 7:48 am on April 15, 2019, until further notice.
  • I-82 milepost 132 Columbia River Bridge near Plymouth: Eastbound traffic is shifted to the westbound Columbia River bridge into Oregon. The speed limit is reduced to 40 mph. Westbound traffic is reduced to a single lane.
  • US 395 milepost 19 to 21: Single lane closures, Monday April 22 to Tuesday April 23 at 6 a.m.
    Tuesday April 23, 7 p.m. to Wednesday April 24 at 6 a.m.
    Wednesday April 24, 7 p.m. to Thursday April 25 at 6 a.m. Northbound lane closures.
    Thursday April 25, 8 p.m. to Friday April 26 at 5 a.m. and
    Friday April 26, 9 p.m. to Saturday April 27 at 7 a.m. Southbound lane closures.
  • SR-397 milepost 15: Tuesday, April 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be single lane traffic for electrical work.
