Blocking Incidents

Collision on I-5 northbound at Milepost 135.3 near Puyallup River Bridge. Beginning at 5:39 pm on May 23, 2013 until further notice. The right lane is blocked.
Heavy traffic is causing backups and possible delays on I-5 southbound from milepost 134 near Mckinley Way to milepost 131.00 near 48th St beginning at 1:39 pm on May 23, 2013 until further notice.
Heavy traffic is causing backups and possible delays on I-5 southbound from milepost 139.5 near Pierce / King Co. Line to milepost 134 near Tacoma Dome. Beginning at 2:37 pm on May 23, 2013 until further notice.
Heavy traffic is causing backups and possible delays on I-5 northbound from milepost 132 near 38th St to milepost 134 near Mckinley Way. Beginning at 3:17 pm on May 23, 2013 until further notice.
Heavy traffic is causing backups and possible delays on I-5 southbound from milepost 125 near New York Ave to milepost 119.35 near Dupont. Beginning at 4:00 pm on May 23, 2013 until further notice.

Construction Closures

The southbound I-5 exit to S. 38th Street in Tacoma (Exit #132A) is closed through July. Motorists are detoured via the S. 56th Street interchange at Exit #130, onto northbound I-5 and to the northbound I-5 exit to S. 38th Street. Expect delays, especially during a.m. and p.m. peak travel periods.
Eastbound Nalley Valley project-related work requires periodic lane and shoulder closures in both directions of SR 16, as well as on Sprague Avenue, South Tacoma Way and Center, and Union streets weekdays and weeknights.
