Blocking Incidents

On SR 167 southbound just north of SR 18 I/C (MP 15) there is a collision blocking the left lane. Medical Aid, Fire Assistance, and the State Patrol have arrived on the scene.
Heavy traffic is causing backups and possible delays on I-5 northbound from milepost 129.6 near 74th-72nd Sts to milepost 135.00 near Tacoma. Beginning at 5:15 pm on May 18, 2013 until further notice.

Construction Closures

The southbound I-5 exit to S. 38th Street in Tacoma (Exit #132A) is closed through July. Motorists are detoured via the S. 56th Street interchange at Exit #130, onto northbound I-5 and to the northbound I-5 exit to S. 38th Street. Expect delays, especially during a.m. and p.m. peak travel periods.
Eastbound Nalley Valley project-related work requires periodic lane and shoulder closures in both directions of SR 16, as well as on Sprague Avenue, South Tacoma Way and Center, and Union streets weekdays and weeknights.
