I-405 Southbound - Update 5:29 AM : On the I-405 southbound off-ramp to Coal Creek Pkwy (MP 10) there is a disabled vehicle partially blocking the ramp. The Incident Response Team has arrived on the scene.

I-5 Southbound - Southbound I-5 ramp to westbound South 38th Street is closed through June for construction. Drivers will now follow a single lane across the new southbound I-5 bridge and exit at the eastbound S. 38th Street loop ramp to access either direction of S. 38th Street.

SR 16 Eastbound - The South Sprague Avenue on-ramp to southbound I-5 is closed for construction through June 2019. Drivers will follow a detour to westbound SR 16, to Union Avenue, to eastbound SR 16 where they will merge left onto newly-opened HOV lanes to southbound I-5.

SR 17 Both Directions - SR-17 will remain closed at least through Easter in both directions from milepost 7, the Junction of US-395 near Mesa to milepost 15 at the Junction of SR-260, due to unstable rock faces along the roadway. Traffic can use US-395 and SR-260 as a detour route. An estimated time to open the roadway is unknown as crews remove the rock slide and stabilize the slopes. An update will be provided Monday morning, April 22 2019.

SR 16 Eastbound - TRAFFIC REVISION through June: Eastbound SR 16 drivers heading to southbound I-5 will merge left to reach southbound I-5. Eastbound SR 16 drivers will not have access to South 38th Street until weekend of April 20-21.

SR 510
SR 510 Both Directions - Drivers using the Marvin Road overpass can expect delays as the overpass is reduced to one through lane in each direction. Southbound I-5 drivers exiting onto Marvin Road will not be able to turn left onto Marvin Road. Those drivers will follow a signed detour via Hogum Bay Road or use Nisqually exit 114. The changes will continue to mid-June.

SR 162 Both Directions - The SR 162 Spiketon Creek Bridge has been permanently closed due to recently discovered pier settlement. A detour is in effect using Mundy Loss Road, SR 410 and SR 165. View our next steps for a path towards replacement.
