Blocking Incidents
  • On US 2/97 near Cashmere (milepost 110), Eastbound off ramp and westbound turn lane to W. Cashmere Bridge/Goodwin Rd. will be closed. The contractor on the West Cashmere Bridge project will begin roadwork on Hay Canyon Road as early as next week. The road will be torn up and a crew will begin building a roundabout just north of Vale Road. Traffic will be shifted around the work area and travelers can expect flagger controlled traffic during working hours.
  • SR 410 Chinook Pass remains open in both directions: the speed limit is reduced to 30 mph from milepost 69 to milepost 74 due to road damage near the summit. Drivers and motorcyclists are encouraged to be cautious as they travel the damaged area. Due to fire activity east of the pass, SR 410 travelers may also encounter areas of dense smoke, poor visibility at times, and fire equipment and crews working near the roadway. Delays are possible.
  • SR-123 Cayuse Pass is open for the season
  • I-82 westbound milepost 31 Yakima Twin Bridges: Wednesday Sept. 22 and possibly Thursday: Expect single lane closures for bridge work.
  • I-82 westbound milepost 19: Monday through Thursday Sept. 20 through Sept. 23 from 7 AM to 3 PM there will be a single lane closure for maintenance work.
Construction Closures
  • On US 97 between milepost 159 and 160 (Swauk campground), Wednesday only from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with delays up to 20 minutes where the contractor is striping pavement and setting guideposts.
  • Monday, July 12 – SR 164 between 176th Way Southeast and Southeast 413th Place will fully close for both directions of traffic for 90 days beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, July 12. Signed detours will be in place.
  • I-90 milepost 34 to 136, North Bend to Vantage: There are a number of maintenance and construction work zones between North Bend and Vantage. Motorists will experience minor delays this week due to lane closures and intermittent rolling slowdowns. Pay attention and slow down as you enter and exit our work zones.
  • I-90 eastbound milepost 63, 11 miles east of Snoqualmie Pass summit: Both eastbound lanes will be detoured up and over the ramps at exit 63 Sunday night, Sept. 19 through Friday morning Sept. 24. To keep traffic moving, cross traffic will not be allowed on the bridge. A reduced speed limit of 35 mph will be strictly enforced. Drivers need to plan for added travel time. This work is weather dependent. Crews are replacing several concrete panels under the Cabin Creek Road Interchange at exit 63.
  • US 12 both directions milepost 145 to 166 White Pass: Drivers may experience minor delays due to single lane alternating traffic control Monday Sept. 20 through Thursday Sept. 23 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for maintenance work.
  • US 97 northbound milepost 69 to 74 Wapato vicinity: There will be single lane closures Monday September 20, 7 p.m. to Tuesday September 21 at 9 a.m.
    Tuesday September 21, 7 p.m. to Wednesday September 22 at 9 a.m.
    Wednesday September 22, 7 p.m. to Thursday September 23 at 9 a.m.
    Thursday September 23, 7 p.m. to Friday September 24 at 9 a.m.
    Friday September 24, 7 p.m. to Saturday September 25 at 7 a.m.
    Minimal delays are anticipated.
  • SR 970 milepost 6 to 8: Tuesday Sept. 21 both directions from 6:30 AM to 3 PM crews will have a flagging operation with alternating traffic for guardrail repair.
  • SR 410 milepost 84: Maintenance crews will be working on a shoulder washout repair Monday Sept. 20 through Thursday Sept. 23. Traffic can expect one lane traffic control from 7 am to 4 pm.
