Blocking Incidents
  • The SR 162 Spiketon Creek Bridge has been permanently closed due to recently discovered pier settlement. A detour is in effect using Mundy Loss Road, SR 410 and SR 165. WSDOT plans to install a temporary span and reopen the highway to travelers mid-October 2019. View our next steps for a path towards permanent bridge replacement additionally in 2022.
  • The Iron Goat Rest Area on US 2 westbound at milepost 58 4 miles west of Stevens Pass summit is closed for the season.
Construction Closures
  • I-90 eastbound Exit 80 on ramp is closed, 4 miles west of Cle Elum. The on ramp will remain closed through November. Ramp closure is for concrete rehabilitation of the highway and bridge deck.
  • Monday, Nov. 11, to the morning of Friday, Nov. 15 – The HOV lane of eastbound SR 520 at Northeast 40th Street will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 12, to the afternoon of Friday, Nov. 15 – The left lane of eastbound I-90 between 150th Avenue Southeast and SR 900 will be closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 12, to the afternoon of Friday, Nov. 15 – The Snoqualmie Parkway on-ramp to westbound I-90 will close from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The Snoqualmie Parkway auxiliary on-ramp to westbound I-5 will be open from noon Tuesday to noon Friday.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 12, to the morning of Friday, Nov. 15 - At least one turn pocket in each direction will be closed at the intersection of 179th Avenue Southeast and US 2 from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly.
