Blocking Incidents
  • SR-123 Cayuse Pass is closed for the season due to adverse road and weather conditions. The closure is from the Arch at the park boundary near milepost 2 to the junction of SR 123 and SR 410.
  • SR-410 Chinook Pass is closed for the season. Eastbound traffic is closed at milepost 57, Crystal Mountain Boulevard, 12 miles west of the summit. Westbound traffic is closed at milepost 74.5 Morse Creek, 5 miles east of the summit.
  • On US 2/97 near Cashmere (milepost 110), Eastbound off ramp and westbound turn lane to W. Cashmere Bridge/Goodwin Rd. will be closed. The contractor on the West Cashmere Bridge project will begin roadwork on Hay Canyon Road as early as next week. The road will be torn up and a crew will begin building a roundabout just north of Vale Road. Traffic will be shifted around the work area and travelers can expect flagger controlled traffic during working hours.
  • On US 2 Stevens Pass between milepost 61.9 and 70.5, a reduced speed zone of 50 m.p.h. is in place due to rough road and potholing. Travelers should remain attentive for pot holing of the road through this section of highway and always drive for conditions. Repairs to this stretch of road are planned for June when it is warm enough for hot mix treatment.
  • On US 2 at milepost 58 (east of Skykomish), the Iron Goat safety rest area is closed for the season as of Nov. 5, 2020.
Construction Closures
  • On US 2 between milepost 199 and 121 (east of Easy St. in Wenatchee),Sunday through Thursday nights from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. expect lane closures and slow downs. Beginning Sunday, May 2, both EB and WB traffic over the Odabashian Bridge will be reduced to single lanes and shifted to allow the contractor to expedite work. There will also be intermittent ramp closures and a reduced speed zone. Work will occur 24/7.
  • I-90 milepost 34 to milepost 136 North Bend to Vantage: There are a number of maintenance and construction work zones between North Bend and Vantage this week. Motorists will experience minor delays due to day and night time lane closures. There are width restrictions in some work zones. Pay attention and slow down as you enter and exit our work zones.
  • On I-90 between milepost 148 and 165 (George to Moses Lake), Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., expect lane closures and reduced speed where the contractor is paving at grind out locations.
  • On US 97 between milepost 159 and 160 (Swauk campground), Traffic has been shifted to divided lanes around the work zone in the middle of the lanes. A reduced speed of 35 m.p.h. will be in place, as well as a 10 ft. width restriction for northbound traffic, and a 11 ft. width restriction for southbound traffic. Reduced speed zone and width restrictions remain in place 24/7.
  • On US 2 at milepost 100 (intersection of 9th St. in Leavenworth), Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., expect curb and sidewalk closures at one corner of the intersection where a contractor is upgrading failing curb ramps and installing new crossing push buttons. The contractor will complete work at one corner of the intersection then move to the next.
  • SR 823 MP 2 to MP 5 Single Lane Flagger Controlled Closure with Pilot Car
    Thursday May 13 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Friday May 14, piloted traffic control with a 10 ft width restriction.
    Friday May 14 from 7 a.m. to Saturday May 15 at 7 a.m., piloted traffic control with a 10 ft width restriction.
    Friday May 14 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m on Saturday May 15 there will be a mobile sweeping operation with no width restrictions.
  • I-82 westbound MP 38 Monday May 10 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a single lane closure with a 12 FT width restriction.
    I-82 eastbound milepost 40 Tuesday May 11 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a single lane closure with a 12 FT width restriction.
  • SR 24 MP 4 (Beaudry Rd) to MP 5.72 (Faucher Rd), Monday May 10 and Tuesday May 11 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. there will be pilot car traffic control operations for roadway sealing work.
  • SR 410 MP 109 to MP 115, Monday May 10 to Thursday May 13 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be pilot car traffic control operations for ditching work.
