Blocking Incidents
  • The Keller Ferry that crosses the Columbia River on state Route 21 will be out of service starting Monday, September 16th, for repairs. It is scheduled to be back in service by Thursday, October 3rd at 7 am. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes during this work.
  • Rest Areas on I-90 both Eastbound and Westbound at mile post 198. near Schrag are closed for repairs beginning at 7:05 am on September 11, 2019 until further notice.
Construction Closures
  • Construction on I-90 at the Medical Lake/SR 902 intersection in both directions at milepost 272.8 near SR 902 beginning at 10:48 am on June 24, 2019 until further notice. Crews will be constructing three new roundabouts and a parallel bridge over I-90. The roundabouts will be built at both the east and westbound ramp terminals to I-90 and at Geiger Blvd. and SR 902.
  • Construction on US 2 both directions from milepost 292.9 near SR 395 to milepost 295.7 near Farwell Rd beginning at 7:00 am on July 8, 2019, until further notice. Crews will be repaving this section of US 2 from the Division Wye to Farwell Road. Paving will occur at night starting at 7 p.m. during weekdays.
  • City of Spokane, the Post Street Bridge is closed to vehicular traffic starting immediately, through Spring of 2020. Use other routes.
  • City of Spokane will have Lincoln Street closed between Main Ave and Spokane Falls Boulevard for road work. Motorists should use other routes and expect delays.
  • Spokane County: Hazard Road is closed between Dartford Dr to Rivilla Lane due to washouts. Use other routes and expect delays.
  • Spokane County: Road closed for Sewer work on Freya Street from Moody Rd to Day-Mt Spokane Rd. Local access only until November 29, 2019. Use other routes expect delays.
  • City of Spokane has Sprague Ave Closed between Scott and Grant Streets for road work. Use other routes and expect delays through mid-November 2019.
  • City of Spokane will have Five Mile Road closed from Lincoln to Strong Road Starting Monday, June 17,2019 through mid-November, for road work. Use other routes and expect delays.
  • Spokane County: Geiger Road improvments, curbs, drywells, signing, signals. Road closed from Hayford Road to Thomas Mallen Road. Use other routes, expect delays.
  • Spokane County: Hayford Road closed from 53rd Ave. to Geiger Blvd. Improvement of Geiger Road, Roadway excavation, curb, drywells, signing, signals. Use other routes expect delays.
  • City of Spokane: Grinding and paving on Indiana Ave between Monroe St and Division St. Expect delays.
  • City of Spokane: This project includes construction of a roundabout at US 2 and Deer Heights Road. Expect delays.
  • City of Spokane: The left travel lanes of Stevens Street will be closed between Spokane Fall Boulevard and Riverside Avenue from 9/2/19-10/11/19 for Potelco work. Expect delays.
  • Spokane County: Harvard Road closed at BNSF Crossing 65332 for rail repairs. Use other routes.
  • Construction on US 395 Spur - NSC both directions at the Freya Roundabouts Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Roadway users should be alert for occasional traffic control.
  • Construction on SR 21 both directions at both Keller Ferry Landing sites beginning at 7:30 am on April 17, 2019, until further notice. Crews will begin construction on new the new terminal and pontoon replacement. Ferry operation will not be impacted at this time.
  • Spokane County: Sewer work in the area of Market St and SR 206 Mt Spokane Park Drive. Road will be closed on August 26th to September 19th. Follow detours in place. Expect delays.
  • US-395 both directions milepost 54 to milepost 55 Near Connell:
    Monday Sept. 16 to Thursday Sept. 19 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be traffic control and lane closures for pavement repair work. This work will also include SR-260 interchange and ramps.
  • SR-127 both directions milepost 9, 10 miles west of Pomeroy: Monday Sept. 16 to Friday Sept. 20 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. there will be flagged traffic control for bridge repair operation.
