  • On I-5 southbound just south of Roanoke St (MP 168) there is a disabled vehicle blocking the right lane. The State Patrol has arrived on the scene.

  • Road work on SR 512 eastbound from milepost 2.22 near SR 7/Pacific Ave to milepost 5.8 near Canyon Rd E beginning at 7:43 pm on August 3, 2020 until about 5:00 am on August 4, 2020.

  • A 63-acre wildfire is currently burning on the steep slope above East Beach Rd. East Beach Rd is closed at the intersection with US 101 for public safety. Construction Closures
  • One-way alternating traffic with a temporary signal as crews replace an outdated culvert under the highway for improved fish passage. Work will occur primarily during weekday daytime hours, and is expected to wrap up fall 2020.
  • The SR 7 on-ramp to northbound I-5 in Tacoma closed around-the-clock for construction through mid-August. During the closure, drivers will detour to northbound I-705 to SR 509 and back to northbound I-5 using East Portland Avenue.
  • Crews are removing multiple barriers to fish under US 101 between Sequim and Port Angeles at Bagley and Siebert Creeks for improved fish passage which will require around-the-clock construction, shifted lanes and reduced speeds through fall of 2021. Any highway closures will be announced in advance.
  • This project project removes and replaces outdated culverts under SR 302 with fish passable structures, repaves 8 miles highway, and rebuilds sidewalks and ramps at the Key Center intersection of SR 302/SR 16. Expect daytime lane and shoulder closures through fall of 2021. Repairs to the Purdy Spit Bridge will require up to three weekend closures and a signed detour will be provided.
  • Sunday, Aug. 2, to the morning of Friday, Aug. 7 - Northbound SR 99 between the First Avenue South on-ramp and the South Michigan Street off-ramp will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
  • Until further notice - SR 203 at Loutsis Creek south of Duvall is closed with a signed detour.
  • Drivers will encounter one-way alternating traffic conditions with a temporary signal through fall of 2020 as crews rehabilitate the 1958 SR 107 Chehalis River Bridge outside of Montesano. Any total bridge closures will be announced in advance.
  • This project removes and replaces three, outdated fish barriers under SR 302 at Minter Creek with fish passable structures and repaves nearly 7 miles of highway along with ADA improvements and deck repairs for the Purdy Spit Bridge. Construction began Monday, Aug. 26 and drivers should expect daytime lane and shoulder closures through fall of 2020.
  • This fish barrier removal project has three locations under US 101 at Steamboat, Harlow and Fisher Creeks between Queets and Kalaloch. Drivers will encounter a speed limit reduction of 25 mph and one-way alternating traffic with a temporary signal through fall of 2020.
  • Crews for WSDOT and NOSC are working to restore historic tidal channels and fish runs between southern Kilisut Harbor and Oak Bay by constructing a 440' concrete girder bridge along SR 116. During construction, travelers should expect weekday daytime delays as well as reduced speeds with one-way alternating traffic early August 2019 through fall 2020.
  • Grays Harbor County Public Works announced they are closing Blue Slough Road just south of Aberdeen (a cut through between US 101 and SR 107) beginning July 6 through October 31 for road construction. Inquiries should be directed to Grays Harbor County Roads Department Supervisor Mike Zabiaka at 360-964-1645.
  • Eastbound & westbound traffic is alternating on SR 530 at 115th Ave NE (MP 25) due to roadwork.
  • Traffic revision for NB I-5 exit 134 to Portland Avenue: Construction crews have moved the exit back by a quarter-mile. This change will be in place through mid-August while the exit to Portland Avenue is being re-built. Drivers will see this exit close during overnight hours.
  • Northbound & southbound traffic is alternating on SR 203 at NE 88th St (MP 9) due to roadwork.
  • The City of Aberdeen is making sidewalk repairs for those who walk or roll along SR 105 between Boone Street and Edward P. Smith Drive near Grays Harbor Community College through fall of 2020. Drivers should expect shoulder and lane closures around-the-clock through project completion. All inquiries about this project should be directed to Kris Koski with City of Aberdeen Public Works.
  • One-way alternating traffic in place following several feet of recent roadway settlement. WSDOT will continue to monitor the roadway for further settlement issues. Loads are restricted to no wider than 14 feet to provide clearance. A contract to repair the roadway following widespread damages throughout Washington due to natural disaster is currently underway. A timeline for permanent repairs has not been shared yet. This is the second, latest slide discovered along US 101 at Cosi Hill.
  • One lane of the I-705 on-ramp to northbound I-5 is closed through mid-August for construction.
  • From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4 through Thursday, Aug. 6, crews will make repairs to the driving surface of US 101 east of Sequim from the Clallam County line to US 101/SR 20 intersection in Jefferson County. Expect daytime, single lane closures with flaggers. All work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled.
  • Sunday, August 2 to the morning of Friday, August 7 – Three left lanes on eastbound I-90 between 150th Avenue and SR 900 will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Monday, Aug. 3 to Friday, Aug. 7: Travelers on both directions of SR 6, between Pe Ell to I-5 near Chehalis, will encounter intermittent single lane and shoulder closures, daily, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., for pavement work.
  • Monday, August 3 to the afternoon of Tuesday, August 4 – The NE 175th on-ramp to northbound I-5 will close from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Monday, August 3 to the morning of Wednesday, August 5 – The right lane of westbound I-90 between Island Crest Way and 80th Avenue will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
  • Monday, August 3 to the morning of Friday, August 7 – The eastbound I-90 off-ramp to Factoria Boulevard will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
  • Monday, August 3 to the morning of Tuesday, August 4 – The northbound I-405 off-ramp to NE 195th Street will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Monday, August 3 to the morning of Friday, August 7 – The westbound I-90 off-ramp to Rainier Avenue will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
  • Monday, August 3 to the morning of Saturday, August 8 – The eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to NE 40th Avenue will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Monday, August 3 to the morning of Saturday, August 8 – The 148th Avenue NE on-ramp to eastbound SR 520 will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.

  • Monday, August 3 to the morning of Friday, August 7 – The left lane on eastbound I-90 between 150th Avenue and SR 900 will close from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
  • Monday, Aug. 3, to the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 4 - A flagger will alternate traffic on SR 202 near Northeast Ames Lake Road from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
  • Monday, August 3 to the morning of Friday, August 7 – The right lane on westbound I-90 between SR 900 and 150th Avenue will close from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
