Statewide Alerts
  • The Washington State Patrol is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the following vehicle: a GRAY 2002 HONDA CIVIC, Washington license CAL0420. If you have any information about this vehicle please call 911 immediately.
Blocking Incidents
  • The road to Artist Point is closed to vehicle traffic for the winter season just beyond the upper Mt. Baker Ski Area lodge at milepost 54.7.
  • Update 7:14 AM : On SR 104 eastbound just east of Meridian Ave (MP 29) there is a collision blocking the right lane. The Incident Response Team and the State Patrol have arrived on the scene.
  • Friday, Sept. 24 until further notice - The Interstate 5 Silver Lake Rest Area is closed for maintenance indefinitely. There is no access for recreational vehicle dumping at this location.
  • Beginning Friday, October 15, until further notice - The Interstate 5 Smokey Point Rest Area will close for both directions for at least three months due to staffing.
  • On US 97 at milepost 330 (railroad crossing south of Oroville), there is a 35 m.p.h. advisory speed zone in place due to road conditions. Travelers should not attempt to pass slower vehicles through the advisory speed zone.
  • The Iron Goat Rest Area on US 2 at milepost 58, approximately 9 miles east of Skykomish, is closed for the winter.
Construction Closures
  • Friday, October 22, to the morning of Monday, October 25 – The Montlake Bridge will close for all vehicles from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Pedestrian and bicyclist access will be maintained though shuttles may be used at times to move people from one side of the bridge to the other using a detour route.
  • Monday, Oct. 11 through Friday, Oct. 19 - Intermittent single lane closure between Grassmore Road (milepost 87.53) and Dalles Road (milepost 88.94) from 7:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
  • On US 97 at milepost 330 (south of Oroville), Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with delays where the contractor is completing final work on the highway railroad crossing.
  • Monday, Oct. 18 through Wednesday, Oct. 20 - Alternating single lane closures in both directions between Massey Road (MP 89.48) and SR/544 Columbia Street (MP 90.31) each day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Monday, October 18, to the evening of Friday, October 22 – A southbound lane of SR 203 between East Rutherford Street and East Eugene Street will close from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.
  • Monday, October 18, to the evening of Friday, October 22 - A northbound lane of SR 203 between East Eugene Street and East Rutherford Street will close from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.
  • Monday, October 18, to the morning of Friday, October 22 – Flaggers will alternate traffic for both directions of SR 9 between Lake McMurray and Pilchuck (milepost 37.10 to 37.40) from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
  • Friday, Oct. 15 through Tuesday, Nov. 2 - 24/7 single lane closure in each direction from N 35th Street to N 40th Place.
  • Monday, October 18, to the morning of Friday, October 22 – A left lane on southbound I-5 between 236th Street Northeast and the SR 530 Island Crossing (milepost 210.3 – 208.8) will close from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly.
  • Monday, October 18, to the morning of Friday, October 22 – A left lane on northbound I-5 between the SR 530 Island Crossing and 236th Street Northeast (milepost 208.4 – 209.7) will close from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly.
  • Monday, October 18, to the morning of Friday, October 22 – The eastbound SR 104 on-ramp to northbound I-5 will close from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly.
  • Monday, October 18, to the morning of Friday, October 22 – The westbound SR 104 on-ramp to northbound I-5 will close from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly.
  • Monday, October 18, to the morning of Friday, October 22 – Two lanes for both directions of SR 522 between Northeast 115th Street and Northeast 165th Street (mileposts 2.73 – 5.33) will close from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly. Traffic will share one open lane of traffic during this time.
  • Monday, October 18, to the morning of Friday, October 22 – The northbound I-5 off-ramp to westbound SR 104 will close from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly.
  • Monday, October 18, to the morning of Friday, October 22 – A single right lane on westbound SR 524 at 36th Avenue West (milepost 5.08), just west of I-5 will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
  • Monday, October 18, to the morning of Friday, October 22 – Both directions of SR 104 between the southbound I-5 interchange and the northbound I-5 interchange will close from 11:59 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Wednesday, October 20 – Traffic will alternate a single lane on SR 9 between mileposts 37.21-37.26, south of SR 534, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Special Events
  • Flammable cargo is prohibited on SR 520 eastbound & westbound from Montlake Blvd (MP 1) to 84th Ave NE (MP 5).
