Blocking Incidents
  • Horn School Rest Area is closed until further notice on US 195 at milepost 60.5, two miles south of Rosalia, beginning at 10:19 am on September 4, 2020 until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Construction Closures
  • On SR 26 at milepost 57 Bridge 118 (Providence Coulee Bridge), Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., expect traffic control with automated flagger assistance device (AFAD). There will be 12 ft. width restriction 24/7 during the span of the project. Over-width loads are encouraged to use an alternate route. Work may take up to three weeks, depending on conditions.
  • On SR 282 between milepost 0 and 4.92 (Ephrata), Friday only, from 7 a.m to 4:30 p.m, expect flagger controlled traffic with pilot car and delays up to 20 minutes where the contractor is installing guideposts.
  • SR-240 milepost 33 Richland vicinity: Access to Duportail Rd to and from SR 240 is closed 24 hours a day, seven days a week for roadway construction improvements. Detours are in place. Expect SR 240 in both directions at Duportail Rd intersection to have a single lane closure and speed reduction.
  • US-12 both directions milepost 307 to 314 near Wallula Jct.: Tuesday Sept. 22 and Wednesday Sept. 23 be prepared for flaggers alternating one-way traffic or for one-way piloted traffic control during daytime hours. Traffic should anticipate delays.
  • I-82 eastbound milepost 114 Kennewick vicinity: Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be a right lane closure with reduced speed limit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • US-395 southbound milepost 18 Pasco/Kennewick, Lewis Street on ramp:Tuesday Sept. 22 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., there will be a right lane closure for bridge inspection.
    US-395 northbound milepost 19 and Columbia Drive on ramp: Wednesday Sept. 23 and Thursday Sept. 24 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., travelers may experience some delay and added travel time due to a right lane closure for bridge inspection.
  • US 395 milepost 17 Kennewick, N. Ely St., W. Clearwater Ave., Vista Way Intersections: Thursday, Sept. 24, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., the work zone will be limited to a single lane at times and drivers may experience minor delays.
  • US-12 milepost 347 to 350 both directions east of Walla Walla: Monday Sept. 21 through Thursday Sept. 24 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. travelers will experience some delay and added travel time due to flagger controlled alternating one lane traffic control for pavement repair and preservation work.
  • US-12 milepost 358 Waitsburg: Drivers can expect shoulder closures and intermittent single-lane closures with flagged traffic control Monday through Wednesday during daylight hours.
