Know before you go
SR 410 from 166th Ave E in Sumner to Veterans Memorial Drive in Bonney Lake has reopened to travelers following the previous closure due to the Sumner Grade Fire. East Pierce Fire and Rescue advises smoldering spots along the highway may still be visible. Only call 911 if you see flames directly threatening people or structures.

Blocking Incidents
  • Road work on SR 167 southbound at milepost 0 near I-5 beginning at 8:57 am on October 1, 2020 until about 3:00 pm.
Construction Closures
  • From 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 to 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, NB I-5 approaching the new 70th Avenue East bridge in Fife will be reduced to 2 lanes for construction. SB I-5 will be reduced to 2 lanes in the same area from 11 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3.
  • Two lanes of southbound I-5 will close from Port of Tacoma Road to McKinley Way from 11 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1 to 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2 for striping. Work is weather sensitive and may be rescheduled.
  • Thorne Lane on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close from 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1 to 4:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2 for construction. Work may be rescheduled due to weather.
  • 41st Division Drive on-ramp to northbound I-5 will close from 10:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 to 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 for construction. Work may be rescheduled due to weather.
  • Southbound I-5 exit to 41st Division Drive will close from 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 to 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4 for construction. Work may be rescheduled due to weather.
  • Southbound I-5 exit to Berkeley Street will close from 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 to 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4 for construction. Schedule may change due to weather.
