Blocking Incidents
  • The SR 162 Spiketon Creek Bridge has been permanently closed due to recently discovered pier settlement. A detour is in effect using Mundy Loss Road, SR 410 and SR 165. WSDOT plans to install a temporary span and reopen the highway to travelers mid-October 2019. View our next steps for a path towards permanent bridge replacement additionally in 2022.
Construction Closures
  • On US 97A in the city of Chelan on W. Woodin Ave. (milepost 223) Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. expect flagger controlled traffic with delays on W. Woodin Ave. where a contractor for Chelan County PUD is installing conduit.
  • UPDATED INFO: I-90 eastbound Exit 80 on and off ramps, 4 miles west of Cle Elum, are closed 24 hours a day. The off ramp is closed through Monday Oct. 21, and drivers will need to use Exit 84. The on ramp will remain closed until Monday Nov. 4, drivers wishing to go eastbound from Exit 80 will need to go through Cle Elum to Oaks Ave. on ramp at Exit 84. Ramp closures are for concrete rehabilitation of the highway and bridge deck.
  • On I-90 westbound at West Lake Sammamish Pkwy (MP 14) the HOV lane is closed due to roadwork.
  • Eastbound & westbound traffic is alternating on SR 410 just east of Mud Mountain Road (MP 30) due to roadwork.
  • On SR 17 in Moses Lake (milepost 51 - 54), Monday - Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. expect shoulder closures and lane closures on SR 17 at intersections between the I-90 eastbound off ramp to Broadway Ave. where the contractor is installing electrical conduit and foundations for the new “Prepare To Stop When Flashing” alert systems.
  • I-82 both directions milepost 38 South Union Gap: The ramp from Main Street to I-82 eastbound will be closed Thursday Oct. 17 from 8 p.m. to Friday 6 a.m. There will be night time lane closures Monday through Thursday.
