Blocking Incidents
  • On US 2/97 near Cashmere (milepost 110), Eastbound off ramp and westbound turn lane to W. Cashmere Bridge/Goodwin Rd. will be closed. The contractor on the West Cashmere Bridge project will begin roadwork on Hay Canyon Road as early as next week. The road will be torn up and a crew will begin building a roundabout just north of Vale Road. Traffic will be shifted around the work area and travelers can expect flagger controlled traffic during working hours.
  • SR-123 Cayuse Pass is open for the season
  • On US 2 Stevens Pass between milepost 61.9 and 70.5, a reduced speed zone of 50 m.p.h. is in place due to rough road and potholing. Travelers should remain attentive for pot holing of the road through this section of highway and always drive for conditions. Repairs to this stretch of road are planned for June when it is warm enough for hot mix treatment.
  • I-82 westbound milepost 31 Yakima: Tuesday June 15 through Thursday June 17 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. there will be a single lane closure for bridge inspection.
Construction Closures
  • I-90 milepost 34 to 137, North Bend to Vantage: There are a number of work zones between North Bend and Vantage. Motorists will experience minor delays due to lane closures and other traffic revisions in place for maintenance and construction activities. Motorists are reminded to slow down and obey all traffic control devices as you enter and exit our work zones.
  • On US 97 between milepost 159 and 160 (Swauk campground), traffic is shifted to divided lanes around the work zone in the middle of the lanes. A reduced speed of 35 m.p.h. is in place, as well as a 10 ft. width restriction for northbound traffic, and a 11 ft. width restriction for southbound traffic.

  • On US 2 between milepost 119 and 121 (east of Easy St. in Wenatchee), Sunday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., expect single lane closures and slow downs where the contractor is completing bridge joints, putting down paint and plastic line, installing concrete curb, and adjusting monuments and catch basins.
  • *No Work For This Project Thursday, June 10th* Motorists traveling over US 2 Stevens Pass should expect up to 20 minute delays as they encounter lane shifts and occasional flagger or pilot car controlled traffic due to a paving project. The hours for this project are Mon-Thur, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The work zone for this project extends from milepost 62, two and a half miles west of the summit, to milepost 71 on the east side of Stevens Pass.
  • Until further notice - One right lane of westbound I-90 between SR 900 and 150th Avenue SE will close from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily on weekdays.
  • Monday, June 14, to the morning of Friday, June 18 – Up to three right lanes of eastbound I-90 between SR 900 and 150th Avenue SE will close from 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. nightly.
  • Until further notice - One right lane of eastbound I-90 between SR 900 and 150th Avenue SE will close from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily on weekdays.
  • On SR 203 southbound at NE 88th St (MP 8) the right lane is closed due to maintenance.
  • US 12 milepost 142 to 160 White Pass: Monday June 14 to Thursday June 17, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day, delays will be experienced due to multiple work zones with single and traffic and pilot car directed traffic.
  • US 12 westbound milepost 190 to milepost 193 Naches: Monday June 15 to Thursday June 18, between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., minor delays may be experienced due to single lane traffic through the work zone. This work is weather dependent.
