Continuous 5-hour SR 104 Hood Canal Bridge closures scheduledDrivers are strongly encouraged to plan-ahead for eight nights when the SR 104 Hood Canal Bridge will close to all traffic for 5-continuous hours. The bridge will close from Monday, March 9 to Thursday, March 12 each night from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. and again Monday, March 16 to Thursday, March 19 from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.
The nature of the work prohibits any openings for traffic. The length of the closures could extend due to work progress. All work is subject to weather and tidal activity. Each night of work could be rescheduled to later date.
By law, WSDOT is required to open the Hood Canal Bridge drawspan to mariners within one hour’s notice, and motorists are advised to expect up to 60-minute delays with each opening. If no drawspan openings are listed immediately below, no non-military drawspan openings are scheduled.
The bridge drawspan will open at approximately 11:00 AM on Friday February 28 for maintenance. Drivers can expect delays of up to 30 minutes.
