Know before you goThe Marvin Road overpass (SR 510) in Lacey has reopened well ahead of schedule. Crews successfully completed weekend work. The overpass and associated ramps are open to travel. On Friday, July 31, both were closed allowing crews to rebuild the I-5 overpass into a diverging diamond interchange.
While WSDOT will keep travelers moving in the new configuration, travelers can expect continued congestion on the overpass.
Crews must continue additional work before the interchange is complete. Added congestion could continue into mid-September. Travelers are encouraged to go early or late in the day, consolidate trips, or use alternative routes.
