Blocking Incidents
  • Beginning the evening of Monday, June 22 to the morning of Tuesday, June 30: Access to The Bridge of the Gods from SR 14 will be closed nightly from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., for bridge truss repair work. Note: The bridge will remain open on Friday and Saturday nights throughout the project
  • On SR 24 at milepost 78 (intersection with Bench Rd. south of Othello), beginning Tuesday at 6 a.m. the intersection will be closed to allow the contractor to expedite final tasks including plastic pavement markings, permanent signing, illumination, and concrete repair. A signed detour will be in place. The intersection will reopen no later than Friday, July 10 at 6 a.m.
Construction Closures
  • Construction eastbound lane closed on SR 14 near at milepost 56.8 near Little White Salmon River follow flaggers instructions and expect delays beginning at 7:11 am on July 9, 2020 until further notice.
  • Maintenance on US 12 eastbound at milepost 138 near Clear Fork River follow flaggers instructions and expect delays beginning at 9:20 am on July 9, 2020 until further notice.
  • Travelers are advised to use caution near the Hells Crossing Campground area at milepost 84, 15 miles east of the Chinook Pass summit where portions of the highway have been damaged due to flooding. A repair project is planned this summer with minor traffic delays.
  • I-82 both directions milepost 36 south of Union Gap: Tuesday July 7 through Thursday July 9 there will be single lane closures at night.
  • I-82 eastbound milepost 33, Fair Avenue on ramp: Monday July 6 through Friday July 10, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. the work zone will be limited to a single lane at times and drivers may experience minor delays.
  • US-97 both directions milepost 50 to 57 Toppenish vicinity: Wednesday July 8, both directions of traffic should be prepared for one-way piloted traffic control during daylight hours. Traffic delays up to 15 minutes are anticipated.
  • SR-410 both directions milepost 81 to 82 Chinook Pass vicinity Tuesday July 7 through Friday July 10, both directions of traffic should be prepared for one-way piloted traffic control during daylight hours. Traffic delays up to 15 minutes are anticipated.
  • US 12 milepost 166 to milepost 175 west of White Pass: Monday July 6 to Thursday July 9, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day, minor delays may be experienced by drivers due to alternating traffic through the work zone with flaggers.
