US 2 Both Directions - ADVANCE NOTICE: Avalanche control is planned for US 2 Stevens Pass on Friday, April 16th between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Eastbound traffic will be stopped at milepost 58, and westbound traffic will be stopped at milepost 64.5. Avalanche control work generally takes from 30 minutes to 2 hours to complete. WSDOT will provide an updated should an extended closure become necessary.

US 101 Southbound - From 10 p.m. Sunday, April 18 to 4 a.m. Monday, April 19, the southbound US 101 on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close for maintenance. Travelers will detour via northbound I-5, State Capitol exit 105 and return via southbound I-5.

I-5 Southbound - From 5:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, April 17-18, southbound I-5 will be reduced to two lanes approaching the Nisqually River Bridge.
Travelers are encouraged to add extra time, travel early or late, and consider eliminating discretionary trips. The weekend lane closures allow for an in-depth bridge inspection.

SR 160 Both Directions - Travelers will notice a new traffic signal at the intersection of Southeast Sedgwick Road (SR 160) and Phillips Road Southeast. The new traffic signal is intended to help reduce the risk of collisions at the intersection by regulating when drivers can turn to and from Phillips Road.
