US 12 Both Directions - US 12 remains closed to thru traffic in both directions over White Pass due to a forest fire and firefighting efforts. The EB closure is three miles east of the summit at MP 154, near the Falls Overlook by Dog Lake. The WB closure is eight miles east of the summit near MP 159 at the Upper Tieton Rd. Estimated time to open the highway is unknown. The road will remain closed overnight, an update will be provided Friday afternoon. Access for local and recreational traffic is allowed.

US 97 Both Directions - Monday, July 13 until further notice: Travelers on both directions of US 97, between Indian Service Road and Wilson Charley Road, will encounter intermittent single lane closures with flaggers, daily, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for construction of the new bridge.

Note: The speed limit through the work zone has been temporarily reduced from 65 mph to 40 mph. This speed limit reduction will remain in place throughout construction

SR 240 Both Directions - SR-240 milepost 33 Richland vicinity: Access to Duportail Rd to and from SR 240 is closed 24 hours a day, seven days a week for roadway construction improvements. Detours are in place. Expect SR 240 in both directions at Duportail Rd intersection to have a single lane closure and speed reduction. On Thursday night, Sept. 17, all traffic will be shifted over the eastbound lanes.
