SR 20 Both Directions - SR 20 between Twisp and Okanogan, 7 miles east of Loup Loup Summit at milepost 222.4 will encounter either signal or flagger controlled, single lane traffic where the contractor is rebuilding the roadway undermined by ground water. These repairs are scheduled to be completed this week.

SR 20/Loup Loup Pass – Emergency Repair 2019#9327 Counties: Okanogan Highway: SR 20 Region: North Central Location: MP 222 (seven miles east of Loup Loup summit) Description: Hurst Construction, LLC has been selected as the contractor for this $1.32 million emergency work to rebuild the slope under the roadway, as well as the asphalt surface and guardrail that have been eroded from ground water. Work will require the construction of an access road from SR 20 down to bottom of the washout. Work schedule: Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. expect delays with single-lane, signal or flagegr controlled traffic. Signal remains in place in non-work hours.
