US 97A Both Directions - On US 97A milepost 217-223 (Entiat to junction of SR 971/Navarre Coulee Rd.) beginning Wednesday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. the road will be closed for rock scaling activities. There are no midday openings. Day long closures are scheduled for weekdays until June 15.

US 97A Both Directions - US 97A is closed in both directions from milepost 223 to milepost 230 at the Knapps Hill Tunnel south of Chelan for emergency slope stabilization work. Motorists traveling between Wenatchee and Chelan should use US 97 on the east side of the Columbia River. There is a local detour available using SR 971 over Navarre Coulee and the South Shore of Lake Chelan, but it is not recommended for large vehicles. This will be an extended closure with no estimated re-opening date at this time.
