US 101 Both Directions - Crews are removing multiple barriers to fish under US 101 between Sequim and Port Angeles at Bagley and Siebert Creeks for improved fish passage which will require around-the-clock construction, shifted lanes and reduced speeds through fall of 2021. Any highway closures will be announced in advance.

US 101 Both Directions - Travelers using US 101 near Sequim will want to plan for additional commute time on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 27-28. From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, a private contractor will remove trees of concern along US 101 near Louella Road. These trees must be addressed in preparation for the upcoming storm season and for traveler safety. Safety concerns require this work to occur during daytime hours. Travelers will see the highway closed intermittently for 10 minutes at a time.

US 101 Both Directions - Grays Harbor County Public Works announced they are closing Blue Slough Road just south of Aberdeen (a cut through between US 101 and SR 107) beginning July 6 through October 31 for road construction. Inquiries should be directed to Grays Harbor County Roads Department Supervisor Mike Zabiaka at 360-964-1645.

US 101 Both Directions - Crews for Olympic National Park are replacing a damaged culvert under US 101 at Lake Crescent near La Poel Creek from earlier winter rains. Drivers should expect one-way alternating traffic with flaggers during weekday, daytime hours beginning Sept. 21 through Oct. 31. A temporary traffic signal will alternate traffic during weekend hours while work is underway. Any questions should be directed to ONP at https://www.nps.gov/olym/planyourvisit/conditions

US 101 Both Directions - Crews are replacing three outdated, damaged culverts that run under US 101 at Steamboat Creek, Harlow Creek and Fisher Creek between Queets and Kalaloch. The damaged culverts will be replaced with concrete girder bridges and are expected to open up nearly nine miles of potential fish habitat for salmon and resident fish. Work is expected to wrap up at all three sites fall of 2021. Travelers will encounter one-way alternating with a temporary signal around-the-clock.

US 101 Both Directions - One-way alternating traffic in place following several feet of recent roadway settlement. WSDOT will continue to monitor the roadway for further settlement issues. Loads are restricted to no wider than 14 feet to provide clearance. A contract to repair the roadway following widespread damages throughout Washington due to natural disaster is currently underway. A timeline for permanent repairs has not been shared yet. This is the second, latest slide discovered along US 101 at Cosi Hill.
