Blocking Incidents
  • The SR 162 Spiketon Creek Bridge has been permanently closed due to recently discovered pier settlement. A detour is in effect using Mundy Loss Road, SR 410 and SR 165. View our next steps for a path towards replacement.
  • I-82 Westbound at milepost 38, 2 miles east of Union Gap, will be closed Thursday, June 27 from 11 p.m. to Friday, June 28 at 4 a.m. Traffic will be detoured at Exit 38.
    I-82 Eastbound at milepost 36, near Valley Mall Blvd. will be closed on Friday, June 28 from 11 P.M. to Saturday June 29 at 4 A.M. Traffic will be detoured at Exit 36.
  • The Blue Lake Rest Area remains closed due to utility damage over the winter.
    No estimated time for the spring opening.
Construction Closures
  • Beginning Monday, May 13 - A single lane of westbound SR 18 at Issaquah-Hobart Road will be closed around-the-clock for approximately 65 days beginning at 5 a.m. Monday, May 13.
  • SR 28 between Ephrata and Soap Lake (MP 44 to 53)- Sunday through Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., expect lane shifts and alternating one-way traffic with delays up to 20 minutes within the city limits of Ephrata for milling and paving activities.
  • I-90 milepost 33 to 136 North Bend to Vantage: It’s going to be another busy week on I-90 due to multiple work zones between North Bend and Vantage. Please make sure you plan for added travel time, be patient and slow down through our work zones.
  • US 97 south of Blewett Pass at Swauk Campground (MP 159), Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., expect intermittent flagger controlled traffic with delays up to 20 min. near Swauk Campground. Beginning Tuesday, traffic in both directions will be shifted to the detour lanes that have been constructed and the speed limit will be reduced to 50 mph through the work zone. The reduced speed will remain in place during non-working hours.
  • ON US2/97 east of the Odabashian Bridge-the Cascade Avenue exit is closed for construction of the 35th St. extension until July. There is a signed detour.
  • On SR 243 between Vernita and Vantage (MP 0 to 28)- Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Expect delays of 20 minutes in a single work zone with flaggers and one-way piloted traffic where the contractor is paving and fog sealing.
  • On US 97 beginning at the junction of SR 970 for 15 miles to Tronson Creek campground, Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., expect one lane, flagger controlled traffic with delays up to 20 minutes in the work zone where the contractor is planing the travel lane sin preparation for paving.
  • I-90 milepost 175.5 to 176.1 (Moses Lake east of Blue Heron Park), Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be a 55 mph reduced speed zone and lane closures where the bridge maintenance crew is working on and around the bridge.
  • US 97A in Chelan, Monday though Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. there will be shoulder closures and single lane, flagger controlled traffic with minor delays at the intersection of US 97A and Webster Avenue where the contractor is installing the warning system’s electrical components and concrete sidewalk ramps.
  • Sunday, June 23, to the afternoon of Friday, June 28 – The two right lanes of eastbound I-90 between East Sunset Way and 468th Avenue Southeast will close from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
  • Sunday, June 23, to the morning of Friday, June 28 – Up to three right lanes of eastbound I-90 between East Sunset Way and 468th Avenue Southeast will close from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly.
  • Sunday, June 23, to the morning of Friday, June 28 – The eastbound I-90 on- and off-ramps to and from SR 18 will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly.
  • Sunday, June 23, to the morning of Friday, June 28 – The eastbound I-90 ramp to SR 202/Bendigo Boulevard will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly.
  • Sunday, June 23, to the morning of Friday, June 28 – The eastbound I-90 off-ramp to 468th Avenue Southeast will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly.
  • On SR 28 in Quincy at 13th (MP 29), Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., expect lane shifts and intermittent flagger-controlled traffic with minor delays at the work site. Motorcycles should use caution.
  • US 12 milepost 165 to 167 Wildcat Creek Bridge: Monday June 24 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. intermittent single lane closures.
