Blocking Incidents
  • Update 7:05 PM : On SR 169 northbound & southbound at SE Jones Rd (MP 19) there is a collision blocking all lanes. Medical Aid, Fire Assistance, the State Patrol, and King County Sheriff have arrived on the scene.
  • Alert Update: the eastbound rest area is now open, the westbound rest area will remain closed over night. An unexpected power outage has resulted in the temporary closures of both the eastbound and westbound I-90 Winchester Rest Areas located approximately 13 miles west of Moses Lake. Westbound will remain closed over night Tuesday Aug, 4. There is currently no estimated time for reopening.
  • On US 2/97 near Cashmere (milepost 110), eastbound off ramp and westbound turn lane to W. Cashmere Bridge/Goodwin Rd. is closed.

  • Cleared: SR 410 and SR 123 between Enumclaw and Packwood over Cayuse Pass
  • SR-823 milepost 1 to milepost 3 in the city of Selah, Monday Aug. 3 to Thursday Aug. 6 between the hours of 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. there will be lane closures for pavement sealing operations.
Construction Closures
  • Motorists traveling across Blewett Pass on US 97 between milepost 168, approximately four miles north of the summit, and milepost 185 at the junction with US 2 at the Big Y, will encounter both flagger and pilot car controlled traffic due to a paving operation taking place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Travelers should expect delays and use caution through the work zone. The work hours for this project are 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • On US 2 between milepost 71 and 78 (Stevens Pass), Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with pilot car and delays of 20 minutes as the contractor completes minor bridge work, shoulder finishing, and raising monuments.
  • On US 97 between milepost 248 and 253 (south of Pateros), Monday through Thursday, from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with pilot car and delays of 30 minutes where a crew is chipsealing wheel paths.
  • On US 2 between milepost 100 and 110 (Leavenworth to Cashmere), Wednesday and Thursday, from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with delays up to 20 minutes where the crew is chipsealing wheelruts.
  • On SR 26 between milepost 1 and 5 (junction of SR 243) Monday, Tuesday and Friday, from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., expect lane shifts and intermittent flagger controlled traffic with delays where the crew is chipsealing wheelruts.
  • On SR 282 between milepost 0-4.92 (Ephrata), Wednesday and Thursday, from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with delays up to 20 minutes throughout the project length as the contractor installs tubular markers, extruded curb, and adjusts survey monuments.
  • Until further notice - SR 203 at Loutsis Creek south of Duvall is closed with a signed detour.
  • I-90 both directions milepost 34 to 136 North Bend to Vantage: Construction and maintenance projects will cause delays across I-90 between North Bend and Vantage due to lane closures and rolling slowdowns. Please plan for added travel time in order to make it to your destination on time.
  • Northbound & southbound traffic is alternating on SR 203 at NE 88th St (MP 9) due to roadwork.
  • On I-90 between milepost 144 and 192 (silica Rd. to Adams County line) Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., expect inside lane closures on the freeway in both directions where the contractor is installing cable barrier. The contractor will start at milepost 142 and work east, moving traffic control as work proceeds.
  • 7:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3 to noon Friday, Aug. 7 - The Skykomish River Bridger (mile post 51.02) will be reduced to a single open lane. Flaggers will alternate traffic.
  • Eastbound & westbound traffic is alternating on US 2 at Money Creek (MP 46) due to roadwork.
  • On US 97 Blewett Pass milepost 159-160 (near Swauk Creek Campground), Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. there is the potential for flagger controlled traffic with delays when the contractor is staging equipment.
    Traffic has been shifted to a bypass lane with a reduced speed limit and 12 ft. width restriction. The speed reduction and width restrict are in place 24/7.
  • I-82 eastbound milepost 33, Fair Avenue, Yakima: Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. over the next few weeks, the work zone will be limited to a single lane at times and drivers may experience minor delays. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible. Motorcycles should use extreme caution through the work zone.
  • Sunday, August 2 to the morning of Friday, August 7 – Three left lanes on eastbound I-90 between 150th Avenue and SR 900 will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • US-12 westbound milepost 191 Allen Rd to milepost 194 Locust Lane, near Naches, Monday Aug. 3 to Friday Aug. 7 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., drivers may experience minor delays as utility crews will have a single lane closure through the work zone.
  • SR-410 milepost 105 to milepost 107 Monday Aug. 3 through Friday Aug. 7 from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. there will be flagged traffic control at times for maintenance work. Drivers may experience minor delays.
  • Monday, August 3 to the morning of Friday, August 7 – The left lane on eastbound I-90 between 150th Avenue and SR 900 will close from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
  • Monday, August 3 to the morning of Friday, August 7 – The right lane on westbound I-90 between SR 900 and 150th Avenue will close from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
  • US-12 both directions milepost 142 to milepost 164 White Pass area: Monday Aug. 3 through Friday Aug. 7, both directions of traffic should be prepared for flaggers alternating one-way traffic or one-way piloted traffic control, during daylight hours. Traffic should anticipate up to 20 minute delays. One- way traffic will be directed through the area using temporary stationary traffic lights 24 hours a day.

  • Monday, August 3 to the morning of Saturday, August 8 – The eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to NE 40th Avenue will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Monday, August 3 to the morning of Friday, August 7 – The eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to NE 40th Street will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 4, to the morning of Friday, Aug. 7 - A flagger will alternate traffic on SR 202 near Northeast Ames Lake Road from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly.
  • Tuesday, August 4 to the morning of Friday, August 7 – The right two lanes of eastbound SR 520 between 148th Avenue NE and NE 40th Street will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
  • I-82 both directions milepost 38 near Union Gap: Wednesday, Aug 5 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. there will be a left lane closure eastbound. Friday Aug. 7 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. there will be a left lane closure westbound.
