Blocking Incidents
  • SR-123 Cayuse Pass is closed for the season due to adverse road and weather conditions. The closure is from the Arch at the park boundary near milepost 2 to the junction of SR 123 and SR 410.
  • Road work on SR 162, in both directions, from milepost 15.0 near S Prairie Creek, to milepost 17.0 near Emery Ave N. Beginning at 7:15 am on April 20, 2021 until about 7:00 pm.
  • SR-410 Chinook Pass is closed for the season. Eastbound traffic is closed at milepost 57, Crystal Mountain Boulevard, 12 miles west of the summit. Westbound traffic is closed at milepost 74.5 Morse Creek, 5 miles east of the summit.
  • On US 2/97 near Cashmere (milepost 110), Eastbound off ramp and westbound turn lane to W. Cashmere Bridge/Goodwin Rd. will be closed. The contractor on the West Cashmere Bridge project will begin roadwork on Hay Canyon Road as early as next week. The road will be torn up and a crew will begin building a roundabout just north of Vale Road. Traffic will be shifted around the work area and travelers can expect flagger controlled traffic during working hours.
  • On US 2 Stevens Pass between milepost 61.9 and 70.5, a reduced speed zone of 50 m.p.h. is in place due to rough road and potholing. Travelers should remain attentive for pot holing of the road through this section of highway and always drive for conditions. Repairs to this stretch of road are planned for June when it is warm enough for hot mix treatment.
  • I-82 milepost 40 eastbound, east of Union Gap: Wednesday April 21 and Thursday April 22 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a single lane closure, for bridge deck repair.
  • I-82 milepost 19, 11 miles north of Yakima: Monday April 19 westbound and Tuesday April 20 eastbound, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a single right lane closure.
  • On US 2 at milepost 58 (east of Skykomish), the Iron Goat safety rest area is closed for the season as of Nov. 5, 2020.
Construction Closures
  • I-90 both directions milepost 34 North Bend to 136 Vantage: There are a number of maintenance and construction work zones between North Bend and Vantage. Motorists will experience minor delays this week due to lane closures. Pay attention and slow down as you enter and exit our work zones.
  • Monday, March 22, to the morning of Saturday, April 10 - The eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to 40th Street will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly on week nights.
  • On I-90 between milepost 148 and 165 (George to Moses Lake), Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., expect lane closures and reduced speed where the contractor is paving at grind out locations.
  • Until further notice - One right lane of westbound I-90 between SR 900 and 150th Avenue SE will close from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily on weekdays.
  • Monday, April 19, to the evening of Wednesday, April 21 – A single lane of westbound I-90 east of North Bend will close from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
  • Monday, April 19, to the morning of Saturday, April 24 – The eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to 40th Street will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly on week nights.
  • Monday, April 19, to the morning of Saturday, April 24 – Lanes on eastbound SR 520 between 148th Avenue and 40th Street will shifted from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly with a signed detour.
  • Wednesday, April 21, to the morning of Friday, April 23 – The eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to West Lake Sammamish Parkway will close from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly.
  • On Sr 17 between milepost 50 and 57 (Patton Blvd. and Kittleson Rd. in Moses Lake), Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., expect left lane closures and slow downs with right lanes open for through traffic. All exits and turns will be open.
  • Thursday, April 22 - A single lane of eastbound I-90 east of North Bend will close from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
  • Wednesday, April 21, to the morning of Friday, April 23 – A right lane of eastbound SR 520 between 51st and West Lake Sammamish Parkway will close from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly
  • On US 97 between milepost 159 and 160 (Swauk campground), Traffic has been shifted to divided lanes around the work zone in the middle of the lanes. A reduced speed of 35 m.p.h. will be in place, as well as a 10 ft. width restriction for northbound traffic, and a 11 ft. width restriction for southbound traffic. Reduced speed zone and width restrictions remain in place 24/7.
  • On US 2 at milepost 100 (intersection of 9th St. in Leavenworth), Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., expect curb and sidewalk closures at one corner of the intersection where a contractor is upgrading failing curb ramps and installing new crossing push buttons. The contractor will complete work at one corner of the intersection then move to the next.
  • SR 821 milepost 5 to 12 Yakima River Canyon: Monday April 19 to Thursday April 22 between 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., there will be flagged traffic control with a pilot car, and short delays for ditching operations.
  • SR 823 milepost 2 to 5, Selah: Monday April 19 through Friday April 23, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. there will be single lane flagger or pilot car directed traffic, for pavement repair. Minimal Delays are anticipated. There is a 10 ft. width restriction through the work zone.
  • On US 2 between milepost 105 and 107 (east of Don Senn Memorial Interchange), Monday and Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., be attentive for shoulder closures where the crew is performing vegetation control beside the highway.
  • Monday, April 19 to the morning of Friday, April 23 – Flagging operations on SR 516 near 189th Avenue SE will alternate traffic from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
