Blocking Incidents
  • Right Lane Closure on US 195 SB at MP 81.5 near Cornwall Road for Bridge work near Spangle, expect a slight delays, Maximum bridge weight 105,500 legal loads only, no over legal axle weights.beginning at 6:53 am on May 29, 2020 until further notice.
  • SR 290 closed for bridge replacement starting near MP 0.5 at the Spokane River, City of Spokane, EB 290 is closed at Hamilton Street, WB 290 is closed at Iron Court, commercial vehicles are diverted to Freya Street, all other traffic can use Mission Street, beginning at 6:18 am on June 3, 2020 until further notice. Follow signed detour route and expect delays.
  • The EB on-ramp to I-90 at Freya Street, MP 284 in the Spokane Valley is closed until further notice for construction, use an alternate route. Beginning at 10:50 am on June 22, 2020 until further notice.
  • Ramp closures in Spokane Valley on I-90 both directions at the Barker Exit, milepost 293 beginning at 7:15 pm on September 21, 2020 until about 5:00 am September 22, 2020. The westbound ramps are closed and the eastbound off ramp is closed
  • Left lanes closed in Spokane on I-90 eastbound at milepost 283 from Freya to Argonne beginning at 7:45 pm on September 21, 2020 until about 5:00 am September 22, 2020.
  • Left lanes closed in Spokane Valley on I-90 westbound at milepost 288 from Spaldings to Freya beginning at 8:00 pm on September 21, 2020 until about 5:00 am September 22, 2020.
  • Horn School Rest Area is closed until further notice on US 195 at milepost 60.5, two miles south of Rosalia, beginning at 10:19 am on September 4, 2020 until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Construction Closures
  • On SR 26 at milepost 57 Bridge 118 (Providence Coulee Bridge), Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., expect traffic control with automated flagger assistance device (AFAD). There will be 12 ft. width restriction 24/7 during the span of the project. Over-width loads are encouraged to use an alternate route. Work may take up to three weeks, depending on conditions.
  • The City of Spokane: Starting Wednesday, Nov. 20, contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will begin constructing the North Spokane Corridor (NSC) Wellesley Avenue interchange. During this time, Wellesley Avenue between Market Street and Freya Street will be closed to pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular traffic. The closure and interchange work will last until the end of 2022. Please use alternate routes.
  • On SR 282 between milepost 0 and 4.92 (Ephrata), Friday only, from 7 a.m to 4:30 p.m, expect flagger controlled traffic with pilot car and delays up to 20 minutes where the contractor is installing guideposts.
  • Spokane County will have lane restrictions for road work on Freya Street between 55th and 57th Ave, until about September 30, 2020. Expect delays, use other routes.
  • Spokane County will have Geiger Blvd closed between Soda Road and Electric Ave (Spokane City Limits) for road work starting on August 17th to November 30, 2020. Use other routes and expect delays.
  • Spokane County will have lane closures with flagged traffic for road work on Progress Road and Forker Rd. Expect delays, estimate road to open September 22, 2020.
  • Spokane County will have lane closures for bridge repairs between West Bradshaw Rd and Keevy Rd, starting on September 1 until about October 30, 2020. Expect delays.
  • Spokane County will have lane closures for road work on Hallett Road between Assembly Rd and West Terrace St. Starting on September 3 to September 8, 2020. Expect delays.
