Know before you goNighttime travelers who use the SR 104 Hood Canal Bridge are encouraged plan ahead for a four-hour continuous closure. Crews will close the bridge to all vehicle traffic to make repairs. The span will close from 10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29 to 2 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30. Crews could extend the length of the closure to traffic, depending on work progress.

By law, WSDOT is required to open the Hood Canal Bridge drawspan to mariners within one hour’s notice, and motorists are advised to expect up to 60-minute delays with each opening. If no drawspan openings are listed immediately below, no non-military drawspan openings are scheduled.
