Hood Canal Bridge Area Traffic Alerts and Cameras

Know before you go
Night work that required a four-hour continuous closure of the State Route 104 Hood Canal Bridge has been postponed due to weather. The work had scheduled to occur from 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17 to 2 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18. The bridge will remain open to travelers during those times subject to typical marine openings. WSDOT will announce when the work is rescheduled.

Scheduled Openings

By law, WSDOT is required to open the Hood Canal Bridge drawspan to mariners within one hour’s notice, and motorists are advised to expect up to 60-minute delays with each opening. If no drawspan openings are listed immediately below, no non-military drawspan openings are scheduled.

The bridge drawspan will open at approximately 11:45 AM on Monday September 21 for boat traffic. Drivers can expect delays of up to 60 minutes.
