SR 104 Hood Canal Bridge night intermittent closures slatedIn preparation for winter storms, crews will conduct night training that will require intermittent closures of the SR 104 Hood Canal bridge to vehicles. On Thursday, Nov. 21 from 10 p.m. to 11:59 p.m., travelers may see intermittent closures that could extend up to 30-minutes. The training prepares crews for specific bridge activities related to winter storms.

By law, WSDOT is required to open the Hood Canal Bridge drawspan to mariners within one hour’s notice, and motorists are advised to expect up to 60-minute delays with each opening. If no drawspan openings are listed immediately below, no non-military drawspan openings are scheduled.
