Blocking Incidents
  • SR 123 Cayuse Pass (elev. 4,675 feet) is closed for the season within the boundaries of Mount Rainier National Park between Crystal Mountain Boulevard and the Stevens Canyon Road entrance.
  • Traction tires advised and oversize loads are prohibited on US 97 both directions between milepost 16 near Chain Up Area and milepost 32 near Kushi Creek beginning at 1:31 am on February 24, 2018 until further notice.
  • Traction tires advised and oversize loads prohibited on US 97 both directions between milepost 3 near Pat's Ranch Mart to milepost 7 near String Street beginning at 3:32 am on February 24, 2018 until further notice.
  • SR 410 Chinook Pass (elev. 5,430 feet) is closed for the season to through traffic from milepost 57 near Crystal Mountain Boulevard, about 12 miles northwest of the summit, to milepost 74 near Morse Creek, five miles east of the summit.
  • I-182 eastbound milepost 3.5: Monday Feb. 26 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., there will be a right lane closure for bridge repairs.
Construction Closures
  • I-82 milepost 132 Columbia River Bridge: Eastbound traffic is shifted to the westbound Columbia River bridge into Oregon. The speed limit is reduced to 40 mph. Westbound traffic is reduced to a single lane.
  • I-82 milepost 114 to milepost 131: Wednesday Feb. 28 between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.: Drivers should prepare for rolling slowdowns and possible added travel time in both directions of I-82 between Exit 114 Locust Grove and Exit 131 McNary Road. The Bonneville Power Administration will be installing fiber optic lines across I-82.
  • I-82 eastbound between milepost 33, Exit 33 Yakima Ave. and milepost 34, Exit 34 Nob Hill Blvd: Weekdays, during daylight hours, Yakima City crews will be installing a new sewer line along the fence line. Crew will be working off the roadway on the shoulder and there should be no impact to traffic.
  • SR-24 milepost 44: Wednesday Feb. 28 and Thursday March 1 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. there will be flagged traffic control for bridge cleaning work.
