Blocking Incidents
  • Closure on SR 401 both directions from milepost 0, near Astoria/ Megler Bridge to milepost 12.10 at SR 4. Use SR101 as an alternate route, from Astoria/Megler Bridge to the intersection of US101 and SR4. Local traffic can access SR401 between milepost 9.2, Knappton Rd and milepost 12.10, at SR4. beginning at 5:08 pm on February 22, 2021 until further notice.
  • Beginning Oct. 5 through Sept. 13, 2021: Travelers in both directions of SR 6, near Twin Oaks Road can expect traffic switched to a 2-lane 25 mph detour bypassing the closure.  Work includes excavation for bridge piers, bridge construction and culvert removal/installation.
  • SR-123 Cayuse Pass is closed for the season due to adverse road and weather conditions. The closure is from the Arch at the park boundary near milepost 2 to the junction of SR 123 and SR 410.
  • Beginning at dusk on Monday, Dec. 21, until further notice: The gates to the upper level of SR 504/Spirit Lake Memorial Highway, near Coldwater Lake, will be closed for the winter.
  • Lane closure on US 101 northbound at milepost 1.2 between the Astoria Megler Bridge Signal and the Chinook Tunnel has alternating traffic with flaggers beginning at 6:36 pm on February 15, 2021 until further notice. Use caution in the area and obey flaggers' directions.
  • Closure SR 401 at milepost 1.1. The Dismal Nitch (Megler) Rest Area is closed, beginning at 4:02 pm on February 23, 2021 until further notice.
Construction Closures
  • Beginning Monday, Jan. 4, until further notice: All freight trucks will encounter a traffic shift to use the center lane on northbound I-5 along the Lewis River Bridge, between mileposts 19.36 and 20.0, just south of Woodland.
    Note: All travelers should slow down through the area and freight traffic should watch for advanced signs advising them when to shift to use the center lane.
