Blocking Incidents
  • Saturday, Sept. 14: Both directions of the Bridge of the Gods will close from 7 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. for the Bridge of the Goddess event. Travelers should use an alternate route during the closure.
Construction Closures
  • Beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, until further notice: Both directions of SR 506, between Telegraph Road and the end of the Lacamas Creek Bridge, will be fully closed, for bridge replacement work.
    Note: During construction, travelers will follow a signed detour using South Military Road and SR 505. The bridge closure and detour will remain in place until construction of the new bridge is complete.
  • Beginning Friday, March 22, 2019, until further notice: Traffic will alternate through a single lane, around-the-clock, for bridge painting and deck replacement work. For everyone’s safety, the speed limit across the bridge is 25 mph. Please slow down and give crews room to work.
  • Monday, July 8 until further notice: Beginning at 7 a.m., all travelers within the intersection of SR 14 and 32nd Street will be shifted to a temporary roundabout for approximately five weeks.
  • Beginning Monday, July 15 until further notice: A single lane on southbound I-5 between mileposts 51.43 and 52.79 will be closed around-the-clock until construction on the bridge is complete. Overnight double-lane closures will be in place from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly Monday through Friday.
    Note: The speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph throughout the length of the work zone for the duration of construction.
  • Beginning Monday, July 26, until further notice: Travelers on both directions of SR 6, near Jones Creek just east of Pe Ell, will be shifted onto a temporary single-lane, bypass road. This detour allows travelers to safely bypass construction around-the-clock, and will be controlled with an automated signal.
    Note: Travelers should expect delays of up to 20 minutes, for additional intermittent, daytime single-lane closures, as needed.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 13 until further notice: Travelers on both directions of SR 6, between mileposts 22.60 and 22.69, will be shifted onto a temporary single-lane, bypass road. This detour allows travelers to safely bypass construction around-the-clock, and will be controlled with an automated signal.
    Note: Travelers should expect delays of up to 20 minutes, for additional intermittent, daytime single-lane closures, as needed.
  • Sunday, Sept. 15 to the morning of Saturday, Sept. 21: ?Up to two lanes of northbound I-205, between SR 14/Columbia River and the I-5/I-205 split, will close nightly, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., for concrete panel replacement work.
  • Beginning Monday, Sept. 16, through the end of October: Travelers should plan for nighttime delays, as they alternate through a single-lane of SR 14 near 32nd Street, nightly from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m.
  • Construction on SR 14 both directions at milepost 47.4 near Wind River Road / Carson Junction, traffic will be alternated through the work zone, beginning at 7:07 am on September 18, 2019 until further notice.
  • Maintenance on I-5 southbound at milepost 37 near Longview Wye to milepost 38, the left lane is closed, beginning at 7:13 am on September 18, 2019 until further notice.
  • Construction on SR 6 both directions from milepost 32 to milepost 33, traffic is being flagged through the work zone, beginning at 8:04 am on September 18, 2019 until further notice.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 18 to the morning of Friday, Sept. 20: A single lane of southbound I-5, between the on-ramp to SR 502 and the on-ramps to southbound I-205, will close nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for concrete panel replacement work.
  • Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 13, until further notice: Travelers on both directions of SR 6 near Salmon Creek will be shifted to use a temporary detour road along SR 6, as work to replace an undersized culvert with a larger box culvert continues. During the work, travelers will pass through the area, around-the-clock, via an automated signal. The speed limit will be reduced to 25-mph, throughout the work zone. Travelers should expect delays of up to 20 minutes, and may encounter lane closures.
  • A section of SR 7 north of Alder from milepost 23.6 to milepost 23.7 has a temporary speed limit reduction in place from 50 mph to 25 mph. Crews are monitoring a hillside adjacent to the highway after recent rains bought small debris onto the shoulder. The temporary speed limit reduction will remain in place until further notice.
  • Monday, Sept. 15 to Friday, Sept. 20: Travelers on eastbound SR 14, between the intersection of Hot Springs Avenue and Wind River, will be alternated intermittently through a single lane, with flaggers daily, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., for railroad bridge replacement work.
