SR 6 Both Directions - Beginning Oct. 5, 2020 through fall 2021: Travelers in both directions of SR 6, near Twin Oaks Road can expect traffic switched to a 2-lane 25 mph detour bypassing the closure.  Work includes excavation for bridge piers, bridge construction and culvert removal/installation.

I-5 Southbound - Beginning Monday, Aug. 30, until further notice: Up to two lanes of southbound I-5 will close nightly, between East Fork Lewis River at milepost 18.0 and North Fork Lewis River at milepost 20.0, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., for paving and concrete panel replacement work.

Note: Travelers should plan ahead for significant delays. For your safety, reduce your speed and stay focused when entering and traveling through the work zone. The speed limit is reduced to 55 mph throughout the project limits.

I-5 Both Directions - On Saturday, Oct. 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: A large convoy of tow trucks will gather at the Ilani Casino for the Raymond Mitchell Memorial Ride; trucks will travel together from Ilani onto southbound I-5 from Exit 16/La Center and continue south to Exit 11/SR 502. Trucks will turn around and re-enter onto northbound I-5 to Exit 32/Kalama River Road. Trucks will turn around and re-enter onto southbound I-5 back to Ilani using Exit 16/La Center.

I-5 Northbound - Beginning Monday, Jan. 4, until further notice: All freight trucks will encounter a traffic shift to use the center lane on northbound I-5 along the Lewis River Bridge, between mileposts 19.36 and 20.0, just south of Woodland.
Note: All travelers should slow down through the area and freight traffic should watch for advanced signs advising them when to shift to use the center lane.
