US 2 Both Directions - On US 2 on Stevens Pass from west of the summit to east of Lanham Lake trailhead/Stevens Pass Nordic Center (milepost 64 to 71) expect lane closures, a 45 mph reduced speed zone and delays up to 20 minutes where a maintenance crew is repairing the pavement meet line.

SR 162 Both Directions - The SR 162 Spiketon Creek Bridge has been permanently closed due to recently discovered pier settlement. A detour is in effect using Mundy Loss Road, SR 410 and SR 165. WSDOT plans to install a temporary span and reopen the highway to travelers mid-October 2019. View our next steps for a path towards permanent bridge replacement additionally in 2022.

I-90 Westbound - I-90 westbound from milepost 85 near Cle Elum to milepost 56 just east of the Snoqualmie pass summit: Heavy weekend traffic is causing backups and delays, of up to 30 minutes of added travel time. An estimated time for the backups to clear out is not known at this time.

I-90 Westbound - A collision on I-90 westbound at near milepost 42, Tinkham Rd, 10 miles west of the Summit, is blocking the right shoulder, causing some backups and delays for westbound drivers. The right lane will be closed to remove the vehicles. WSP and WSDOT are working the clear the collision. Expect delays in the area until further notice.

I-90 Eastbound - I-90 eastbound Exit 80, 4 miles west of Cle Elum, on ramp is closed for concrete rehabilitation of the highway and bridge deck. This ramp closure will last until Nov. 4. Drivers wishing to go eastbound from Exit 80 would need to go through Cle Elum to Oaks Ave on ramp at Exit 84. Starting Monday, Oct. 7 through Friday Oct. 11, eastbound Exit 80 off ramp will be closed. This may extend until Oct. 14, final determination will be forthcoming.

I-82 Westbound - I-82 milepost 38 South Union Gap: The westbound I-82 exit at milepost 38 is closed to traffic; access to Union Gap is via exit 36. Signed detours will direct drivers through the project area. Businesses in south Union Gap will remain open through construction. Ramp closures are until mid October.

US 97 Northbound - US-97 northbound milepost 75 Union Gap: Until mid-October, the US-97 northbound ramp to westbound I-82 is closed with a detour for travelers wanting to proceed on I-82 westbound. The northbound US-97 off-ramp to Main Street Union Gap is open. A signed detour will direct drivers through the project area. Businesses in south Union Gap will remain open through construction.

US 97 Both Directions - On US 97 on Blewett Pass between the junction of SR 970 and Tronson Creek near summit (milepost 149-165) On Saturday (9/21) expect flagger controlled traffic with delays of 20 minutes at milepost 161.4 (between Swauk campground and Pipe Creek Sno Park) where a contractor is repairing damaged guardrail. Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., expect one lane, flagger controlled traffic with delays up to 20 minutes where the contractor is installing rumble strips, guidepost and pavement markings.
