SR 28 Ephrata to Soap Lake Paving and ADA Compliance #9367 County: Grant Highway: SR 28 Region: North Central Location: MP 44.5-53.0 (Ephrata to Soap Lake) Description: In this $3.6 million project, Columbia Asphalt and Ready Mix crews are lowering utilities and updating deficient sidewalk curb ramps to meet ADA standards. Project began March 25 and should be complete in August. Work schedule: Sunday through Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., expect 20 minute delays in Ephrata and between Ephrata and Soap Lake where the crew is paving, and minor delays with lane shifts, shoulder and sidewalk closures with pedestrian detours within Ephrata city limits.
