US 2 Northbound - Motorists traveling over US 2 Stevens Pass should expect up to 20 minute delays as they encounter lane shifts and occasional flagger or pilot car controlled traffic due to a paving project. The hours for this project are Mon-Thur, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The work zone for this project extends from milepost 62, two and a half miles west of the summit, to milepost 71 on the east side of Stevens Pass.

US 2 Paving (Stevens Pass) County: Chelan Highway: US 2 Region: North Central Location: MP 62-70 Description: A crew is paving nine miles of deteriorated road over the summit of Steven Pass. This work is weather dependent. Work schedule: Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., traffic in each direction will be reduced to 1 lane. Expect slow downs and longer than normal travel times during working hours. The crew may require intermittent traffic control with flaggers when staging equipment and setting up lane closures.
