During this time, Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will conduct scheduled property maintenance, trash pickup, and address other site needs.

SR 21 Both Directions - The Keller Ferry that crosses the Columbia River on SR 21 will be out of service until further notice due to mechanical issues beginning at 11:16 pm on September 26, 2021. Drivers are advised to seek other routes until repairs are complete.

US 2 Both Directions - On US 2/97 near Cashmere (milepost 110), Eastbound off ramp and westbound turn lane to W. Cashmere Bridge/Goodwin Rd. are closed. The road will be torn up and a crew builds a roundabout just north of Vale Road. Traffic will be shifted around the work area and travelers can expect flagger controlled traffic during working hours. Plan for construction in the Hay Canyon area to continue through the year.

US 197 Both Directions - Beginning Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, until Memorial Day 2022: The US 197 - Dalles Bridge will be fully closed between Washington and Oregon from 8 p.m. Thursday nights through 6 a.m., Monday mornings, for bridge deck replacement work.

Note:
During the full weekend bridge closures, travelers will follow a signed detour using the US 97 Biggs Junction Bridge. These closures will occur every weekend until Memorial Day 2022.

SR 3 Both Directions - Work to help return Chico Creek under SR 3 to a more natural state is about to get underway. As soon as Monday, Sept. 27, crews working for WSDOT will install orange signs in and around the Chico Way interchange near Bremerton to notify users that construction is imminent. Travelers using both directions of the highway will see lanes shifted to the outside shoulders of SR 3 and night ramp closures.
