US 97A Both Directions - On US 97A milepost 217-223 (Entiat to junction of SR 971/Navarre Coulee Rd.) Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. the road will be closed for rock scaling activities. There are no midday openings. Day long closures are scheduled for weekdays until June 15.

US 97A Rock Slope Scaling County: Chelan Highway: US 97A Region: North Central Location: MP 222-229 Description: A contractor for WSDOT will perform rock scaling at three slopes adjacent to US 97A between Entiat and Knapps Hill Tunnel. Weekday closures of the highway within the project limits begin May 27 and are scheduled through June 15. Work schedule: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the highway will be closed for rock scaling work. There are no midday openings for traffic. Alternative route is available on US 97 for access between Wenatchee and Chelan. Contact: Project Engineer Brian Pearson 509-667-2880
