US 97 Both Directions - On US 97 between milepost 159 and 160 (Swauk campground), Beginning Monday at 6 a.m., traffic is reduced to a single lane with a temporary signal to move traffic through the work zone while the contractor pours concrete for the bridge structure. This traffic control will be in place 24/7 until midday Thursday to allow the concrete to set properly. The contractor on the West Cashmere Bridge project will begin roadwork on Hay Canyon Road as early as next week. The road will be torn up and a crew will begin building a roundabout just north of Vale Road.
