WSDOT registered 7,387 aircraft and provided 1,877 exemptions to qualifying aircraft during the 2023 aircraft registration and renewal cycle. WSDOT has met its annual registration goal of 95% of aircraft in the state for 18 years in a row.

2022

WSDOT meets aircraft registration annual goal

WSDOT registered 7,341 aircraft and provided 2,804 exemptions to qualifying aircraft during the 2022 aircraft registration and renewal cycle. WSDOT has met its annual goal of registering at least 95% of all aircraft in the state for 17 years in a row.

2021

WSDOT meets aircraft registration annual goal

WSDOT registered 7,032 aircraft and provided 2,899 exemptions to qualifying aircraft during the 2021 aircraft registration and renewal cycle. WSDOT has met its annual goal of registering at least 95% of all aircraft in the state for 16 years in a row.

WSDOT launched a new aircraft registration system in September 2019, replacing an outdated system introduced in 2002. The new system is more secure and offers users multiple online services in lieu of an in-person office visit. For more information, visit: http://bit.ly/aircraftregistration.

2020

WSDOT meets aircraft registration annual goal

WSDOT registered 6,733 aircraft and provided 3,213 exemptions to qualifying aircraft during the 2020 aircraft registration and renewal cycle. WSDOT has met its annual goal of registering at least 95% of all aircraft in the state for 15 years in a row.

WSDOT meets aircraft registration annual goal

WSDOT registered 6,529 aircraft and provided 3,534 exemptions to qualifying aircraft during the 2019 aircraft registration and renewal cycle. WSDOT has met its annual registration goal of 95% of aircraft in the state for 14 years in a row.

WSDOT launched a new aircraft registration system in September 2019, replacing a system that was put in place in 2002. The new system is more secure and allows users to report sales, add aircraft to accounts, print registration certificates, update account information and aircraft locations, view aircraft details and payment history, and request an updated aircraft registration number.
