I-90/104th Street Vicinity Fish Passage

Project overview

Crews working for WSDOT will realign the stream and grade the channel for Unnamed Tributary to Lake Creek on Southeast 104th Street just south of the city of Snoqualmie in King County. The stream’s culvert will remain as-is during this project’s stream bed work. This project is required to support the I-90/SR 18 Interchange project and will improve fish habitat for coho, steelhead, sea-run cutthroat and resident trout.

What to expect

Shoulder closures, single lane reductions with flagging and intermittent full roadway closures are planned on Southeast 104th Street just west of 348th Avenue Southeast near Echo Lake. Drivers may also experience short delays when trucks hauling material leave and enter the highway. Work is planned to occur during the day from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This project will improve fish habitat for Unnamed Tributary to Lake Creek just south of the city of Snoqualmie.
